  • thanks so much for doing this

i was looking for a way to help my son who is struggling with math, like me, he is a right brain learner...whereas his left brain brother who takes after his dad had no problem with the multiplication tables

i've ordered the dvd and the book, thanks so much for making them affordable! we cant wait to get them, and the kids saw a few of the videos and were blown away which is unusual because anytime i try to show my son a math video, he runs away screaming :D

  • Thanks for making these videos i am struggling in my 6,7 and 8's you make it look easy as drinking water!! Thanks!!!

  • You are welcome.

I love the comment, "easy as drinking water"

  • i knew my 7's before i knew what a waltz was.....

  • A waltz, for those unclear, is music with 3 beats/measure. So the count is 123, 123, 123. Or it could be . . 3, . . 3, . . 3 (dot, dot, three). Or it could be 123, 456, 789. The right-brain doesn't care if you can learn about waltz from the Threes, or learn the Sevens from a waltz.

  • I love the patterns. Very cool!

  • Numbers are cool with many fun patterns. Glad you are seeing and enjoying and learning from them.

  • hi i found this video very useful and i have included it on to my project, which is a web site teaching students how to caculate math. thanks !

  • I appreciate you helping me help kids by including my video in your project. MisterNumber videos are now on hundreds of sites beyond the 200,000+ views on Youtube. Send me a link.

  • hey this is the best way i ever saw

  • Great!

    Thanks for sharing!!

  • Fantastic! Well done - this is amazing.

  • this has helped me a year ...at school and im so happy that its helping me and im finaly understanding my times tables!!! THX MisterNumbers!!!!

  • i learned my 7 by singing them in the tune of happy birthday :)

  • That is a very Right Brain way to learn them. Congratulations!

  • Great learning tool. Thank you!

  • Everyone learns differently. For some kids, visualizing a board will be much simpler than memorizing the table. This is very cool!

  • I'm glad you think this is very cool. Many kids do learn easier by visualizing a picture or video. It also gives them a big picture of the whole set of 7 factors. Besides, it's fun. Click MisterNumbers for more videos.

  • I taught my 9 yr old your method, and it took me around 5 minutes do teach it. It works. Thank you so much.

  • thanks now i can get my mom of my back

  • It's easy and fun this way!

  • It's actually easier for me to just refer to my memorized times table, but I can see how turning it into a game of sorts can make it more interesting for people learning math.

  • cool

  • Who would have thought that multiplication could be taught via tic-tac-toe! I've taught the threes and sevens using the tic-tac-toe strategy from Mr. Number's EZ Times Table book. I love having this video to use in the future! If students get confused about where to start the numbering 1-9 in the box, all they have to do is remember the first three products! I've had remedial students create the threes and sevens while doing time tests. I love this guy!

  • I am glad the book was so helpful to a teacher. One trick to knowing where to start in the tac-tac-toe square is to put a 7 in the first box (top left) doing the Sevens or a 3 in the first box for the Threes. Then it is obvious. Be sure to see the Threes video because, by my Rule of Ten, it is the same but opposite of the Sevens.

  • Fascinating way to learn numbers. Wish he would have been my math teacher.
