  • @MorettiSwaggin jay was around 25 i believe

  • I didn't know why Beyonce Married Jay-Z until I heard this song.

  • Does anyone know what he;s talking about when he says mac millers? Is that slang because I've heard it used in older songs too before mac miller got his name.

  • @AlmostEasySF they talking about mac-10s

  • @AlmostEasySF Its a gun. Slang for a Mac 10

  • @AlmostEasySF ''Carriers of Mac Millers'' he's talking about machine guns.

  • I did a remix to this instrumental id appreciate if you guys went to my page and took a listen, thanks

  • is that actually jay-z's beat? or did he get it from someone else?

  • So Now We Know Where "Every Thing Was All Good Just A Week Ago" Came From

  • Biggie and AZ showing Jay some luv

  • You only live once

  • Notorious B.I.G was a better rapper and more charasmatic than ALL OF THEM

  • best nas song

  • best jay z song

  • @Bankallday,actually i'am 16 going on 17 and i pretty much know what i'am talking about & if i didn't why would i even state such a comment? Hm, let me ask you and i don't see why you would ask how old are you? age doesn't matter but how old are you, since your such a "wise" person? -SMH- if you don't know any facts about why i stated that comment then shut the fuck up, it wasn't made to concern you & if it does concern you get a life, it's a matter of opinion...(NOT) Nas is better, proven facts

  • Album version sucks compared to this.

  • 25 people are BROKE.

  • must've heard this a thousand times, still shocks me how well these verses stack up to the album version.. fucking classic era for real

  • JAY STOLE NAS VERSE LIKE WHITE PEOPLE STOLE BLACK PEOPLE IN AFRICA NO REFOUND

  • @nigadje hahaha NO REFUND classic.

  • @Hache2KMusic fuck you my is dick blaker dan your face book fan internet dick suck~er dont stART CALING NAMES AT PEPLO YOU DONT KNOW IS THAT that YOU TEACH YOU KIDS ps a not white, am african boy you better check you self before you rap you self

  • @nigadje HUH? When did i call you names? i AGREED with your comment,WTF are you on?

  • @nigadje ha sorry this was not for you

  • @nigadje He didn't steal no Nas verse white boy. He just sampled a line for a hook. Learn the difference you fuckin idiot

  • @Bankallday lmao he still stole a verse lmao dumbass he just got in the game and had to bite lmao

  • WTF? Jay-Z needs that fat ass vevo to make views??

This should've got way more views than "Empire state of Mind"!

  • /watch?v=tPONKBX2BbI&feature=g-upl

  • THE END WAS BEAUTIFUL

  • @Graenelolz ew stfu you know nothing about hip-hop if you think his new shit is good.

  • Of course Jay-z Swagged-jacked Nas, He be on Nas's Dick, Jay-z ain't no man, he had the nerve to swag-jack this nigga, then gon turn away and diss my nigga Nas, Jay-z ain't shit man, gtf off of the Dead Presidents freestyle.

  • @NoUsernameDisplayed You don't know what you talkin bout dude. How old are you 12?

  • The Old School is the only thing that can stand toe to toe with today's underground Rap scene

  • Jay Z really did kinda swagger jack Nas's style

not even just the song, but hes rapping exactly like him! flowing smooth with the beat and pauses for like half a second at times like Nas always does

    Tisk Tisk

  • @ThumbsUpMike that doesn't mean shit, everybody "swagger jacked" Nas when he came out. He changed the game. And its really not swagger jacking, its really just using certain elements for the overall advancement of rap. People did the same exact thing with Rakim when he came out until his rapping style was the norm for all rappers. These are rappers that changed the game and this "swagger jacking" is just a form of rappers paying homage by utilizing these rappers style.

  • @RDoubt96 thats true to a certain degree

but when you already have a style of rapping and then you just switch it to the same style as the new legend who comes up

thats more suspicious of swagger jacker than inspiration

cuz jay z does swagger jack, hes done to biggie as we all know, jay z will do anything for more fame

  • 3;34 is that biggie

  • this song made me sit down when i was headed to the club. it was just amazing at the time. i new he was gonna blow. this was a great time to be young and into hip hop culture.

  • R.I.P to Biggie and WTC!!!!!

  • Just think, I can say I was around during the peak years. of jay z, biggie, mike tyson, michael jordan and michael jackson, the best that ever did it! Respect the 90's, no doubt.

  • <3<3<3<3 IT, THIS IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE SONGS!

  • Biggie @3:17

  • First of all, all these people who bitch about Jay-z changing didn't even buy Reasonable Doubt when it first dropped. It wasn't until Jay-z became Jay-z that ya'll back tracked and checked out Reasonable Doubt.

Are ya'll the same person you were 5 years ago, probably not. So why do ya'll expect these rappers not to evolve? The rap game has changed alot the last 15 years, Jay-z just did what any smart business man does and that's evolve.

All those rappers who didn't evolve fell off.

  • THE ENDING IS PURE OG STATUS...... BUT IF NAS & GHOSTFACE KILLAH AND RAEKWON WERE THERE THAT WOULD'VE BEEN BOSS SHIT

  • J Cole goes harder

  • damn this goes fucking hard

  • @Graenelolz says the dick riding fan lol

  • Otis is one of the best songs Jay-Z has ever released. Y'all just hating on his new shit though, not that you're something to take seriously.

  • If only Nas was in the scene in the end where everybody was playing monopoly. It would have have made the video so official with three of of the hottest rappers in NY at the time Az, Big, and Jay-z.

  • this version sounds so different from the other, his voice is totally different

  • Gangster Monopoly .

  • 3:18 Biggie and AZ,just made this song a bit better for me

  • FUCK YEAH THAT SHIT WOULD OF BEEN ILLEGAL JUST LIKE "BROOKLYNS FINEST"

  • At 3:52...i'm sure Pac must have watched dat part and i'm pretty sure dat must have angered him the more :/

  • 3.18 BIGGIE

  • Did anyone else hear Mac Miller's at 2:51

  • Did anyone else here Mac Miller's at 2:51

  • @Legendarylivin

hes talking about a mac 10...

  • The song that started the greatest beef in history

  • No president will ever represent Me

  • I like how Jay-z passed the torch down to J. Cole with this song. When I heard Cole rip this, I knew real hip-hop was back. ROC NATION!!!!!

  • this song brings back them good ole dayz nd i feel like cryin nd at .49 is the world trade center

  • it was tight when he was playing monopoly just shows u what a bunch of underdogs dreamed of back in the day as their way of seeing the good life .....

  • CAN I LIVE??

  • Just respect the tune and forget about Young money and all that blah blah blah & recognise a timeless Hip Hop joint!

  • Back when jay Z used to rap

    not like this otis shit

  • @hosdih otis was straight,it wasnt no bp1, but it was aight

  • @moballardful man u even cant compare otis with dead presidents

  • @hosdih true,i still fucks with otis though

  • @moballardful i rather listen to the old jayz like hard knock life than this otis

  • @hosdih Made this comparison just today

  • @illbubble so ????

  • @hosdih I think Otis is pretty cool imo

  • @hosdih I used to think the same way, but i had a listen through watch the throne and i changed my mind. Don´t judge the album cause of that single listen to jay on No church in the wild, murder to excellence or new day. and listen to Shiny suit theory feat jay electronica jay is still jay he just doesn´t have anything to prove

  • @dfrazermo yo dont get it twisted i like watch the thrown album but it ll never ever be like reasonable doubt

    u feel me

  • @hosdih Otis went in u dumbass/// hw the fuk u like dis n dnt like Otis? U NEED TO STOP LIVING BACK IN DA DAYS

  • @thedradvocate man its ma fuckin life i can do any thing i want

as they say OLD IS GOLD

if u like the new tracks then wtf r u doin here

  • @hosdih

I TOTALLY AGREE!!!! I LOVED JAYZ back in the 90's....now he feels like he doesnt have to work as hard, I don't think he could EVER Rap like this again!!!

  • @hosdih MAN SHUT THE FUCK UP! I'm so god damn tired of all these people who can't handle change. THESE RAPPERS ARE GOING TO STAY THE SAME. Okay I do admit that some of em sell out, but Jay Z just came out with that album "Watch the throne" and that shit is just as dope as he was back in the day.

  • @MrSuspiciousPerson are you telling me that watch the throne is better than reasonable doubt O.o

  • @hosdih I meant to say "THESE RAPPERS AREN'T GOING TO STAY THE SAME" in that last comment. When did I say Watch The Throne was better than Reasonable Doubt? Did I even imply that? No I didn't. READ

  • @MrSuspiciousPerson man im feeling you rappers change and i hate when they change but this shit is fire i think that its the best album of jay

  • @hosdih I just realized that Jay is a satanist in the illuminati. I'm not gonna listen to Watch the throne anymore. FUCK THAT SHIT. I'm done with a lot of artists altogether. Eminem and Lil Wayne just came out and said they are glad to be free of the control that was put on em by satanists and the music industry.

  • @MrSuspiciousPerson i heard that jay is with the illuminati too

but to be honest i dont give a fuck about lil wayne

he doesnt look like a rappper

  • @hosdih yeah wayne isn't the same person he used to be. I almost feel like ppl hate on wayne just because everybody else is doin it. you gotta sit back and REALLY think about whether you want to join everybody else and hate on wayne, or give some of his songs a 2nd listen. I don't like some of his songs, but there are still some good ones.

  • @MrSuspiciousPerson to be honest its not only lil wayne whos doin bad tracks N gettin alot of credits

even kanye west changed his rhyme style even his wearing style

  • @hosdih Yeah you're right. I will always think the two best rappers are Eminem and Vinnie Paz though. I've listened to pretty much EVERY mainstream and underground rapper and I've come to that conclusion. That's just my opinion though. Everyone has their own perspective on hip hop.

  • @MrSuspiciousPerson You're an idiot.

  • @aBDKstan You're SOO fuckin mad homie. Go kill your self.

  • @MrSuspiciousPerson Not really. But thanks for asking

  • @aBDKstan You should just start writing the suicide note now, so you don't have to worry about it later

  • @MrSuspiciousPerson Oimad?

  • @aBDKstan Hey, you should show me what you have so far with the suicide letter.

  • @hosdih word up he turned soft

  • @hosdih: @hosdih: I guess you stopped growing up with Jay-Z then. Really " back when jay-z used to rap " i hope you listened to the whole Watch The Throne album if you didn't, listened to Why I Love You, illest MotherFucker Alive, Primetime, New Day, Murder To Excellence, No Church In The Wild, & The Joy.

  • @EddyG713 man thats my fuckin opinon reasonable doubt is better than watch the throne

  • @hosdih Dude be realistic, how do you expect niggas like Jay or Nas to top Reasonable Doubt or Illmatic. You gonna keep living in the past. The rap game has changed and these dudes are older.

  • @MrSpliffstarz its not living in the past

the past is what makes the future

    so reflect on it

  • @MrSpliffstarz

    lol dude

  • @MrSpliffstarz right....the 2 dudes dropped probably 2 of the top 10 hip-hop albums in history, and niggas expect them to do it again? please....perfection is an accident

  • @MrSpliffstarz well their flows arent mature enough they rap like kids lol

  • @MrSpliffstarz Stillmatic and The Blueprint are better albums.

  • @hosdih loooooooooooooooooooooooooool its truee!!!

  • @hosdih well he is 40 and married now and baby girl on the way. what more are you expecting

  • @1994cecepooh Not for him to be talking about what cars he got.

  • @ninjatdr12 oh ok. i get you, once bey and jay experience the first few months with the baby she'll leave his immature ass. just saying

  • @hosdih dude if you dont like the new Jay-Z then dont, he's succsessful and rich he's already done it all. He's in his 40's he could rap about whatever he whats.

  • What money does to talent.

  • @MrFrsh2010 born in 88' and completely agree with u! mos def, early jay (reasonable doubt etc), early nas, gangstarr, tribe', roots and all the rest are what hip hops about! would love a uk style like that to exist aswell though and put "REAL" hip hop back on the map!
