LeBron isn't a quarter the defender that Kobe is. Nor is he as much of a scorer. Now, at his age, it's amazing at the playmaker he is. I believe he clearly is the better passer. He's (LeBron) probably the better rebounder, but I'd say per pound, Kobe hits the glass harder.

Actually, Kobe, for a very long time, had a large contract with Nike. And if I'm correct, he currently has a shoe deal with them. (May be wrong). Kobe just doesn't have a very marketable personality, but he can ball (duh). If you think that having a Nike deal has anything to do with measuring basketball skill (Even though some of the best, and THE best have had Nike deals), then I suggest you "go learn basketball."
