  • I've watched this like 4 times tonight... trying so hard to figure this out.

  • she knit faster but she also have to show us how she purl and is her speed the same when she purl. teach us how to purl faster in the continental style

  • Can you get a close up shot of this in slow-action? Either shown slowly (but smooth) or a higher frame-rate camera of it in full speed. That would really help me try and see what's happening. I'm still getting used to continental, but would like to start out using the most efficient method. Thanks!

  • what about a speed purl? That is where time is lost. Is there a speedy purl or rib method?

  • Too bad you didn't film them from behind so we could see what she was doing better...

  • If she doesn't slow down, she is gonna knit up a pomeranian into her work. Woof!

This makes me want to learn continental.....maybe, :)

  • Wow, every comment is from last year...I still like knitting

  • is there any speed purling techniques? I have been trying to find a purl method that is as fast as my picking method. When I am ribbing, is when I could really find a fast technique for purling.

  • I don't think she's knitting in Continental style. It looks like Eastern European style. That's faster than Continental by far. Eastern European is the method I use.

  • i knit like she does, and it makes me knit soooo fast, i love it too, its almost like knitting water that keeps moving, i know that weird, but i love it.

  • Thats crazy!!

  • An American Eskimo is larger. Her dog is a Pomeranian. My grandmother raised them and we had lots of them the first half of my life. They come in all different colors, not just creamy white.

  • die miriam kan echt goed breien :|

  • I have the same dog. Aww. American Eskimo.

  • Oh I have to practice continetal. dang

  • No, you can be just as fast using any method.

    ...

    English method FTW!

  • Does she purl? I'd like to see some speed purling. I can knit pretty fast, but purling slows me down.

  • thank you very much for this video

  • Did anyone notice they are both wearing the same scarf?

    lol...

I'm trying to learn how to knit in the continental knitting.

    Sigh....

  • haha I did XD

  • wiw, your comment is inspiring haha. I want to try this. I really want to knit faster.

  • is that dog alive?

    she can read AND knit?!

    i wanted more close-ups...

i think everyone should learn continental knitting. it really helps to knit faster. it's easy, you just need practice. i still don't purl in continental, just knit (so i find a lot of projects that are stockinette in the round!)

  • dansvlog, I can read, knit and watch TV at the sametime (the knitting doesnt always come out too good heh heh!)

  • Thanks for the video! this is really helpful!

  • Amazing!! Long time knitter and not anywhere close to her speed. What about knitter's who are not using the continental style?

  • Miriam's advice was to keep your finger movements as small as possible and to relax your hands - other than that, just practice, practice, practice!

  • @knitpicks Can you do this with MORE close ups and slower, also I NEED to find the same method for purling. I currently use this same knit method as you showed, but I do not have a efficient way of purling.
