James' voice is insanely amazing, Lars rips his drums to shreds with complicated beats and fills, Kirk has some killer riffs and solos, Jason im sure did well except you cant hear him... at all. I know what happened, a few things! Cliff's influence slowly faded (even in this it has a lot of Cliff's old stuff that was sitting around, ideas etc) Hetfield allowed theothers into the lyric writing, James lost his edge he was full of rage, he sobered up and got married and became a family man or maybe just wimped out, Bob Rock destroyed them, and just plain ol' comformity was another blow! They over all just burned out consumed by greed and the reg life! Should hv just disbanded in the 90's!
