  • I love your Dual dvd.

  • hey, just wondering if you were thinking of getting any South Park in your collection?

  • Hey, just wanted to say that I have really enjoyed your videos. As well, just picked up a sweet tin edition of sin city and the grindhouse double bill with the awesome ads in the middle. Werewolf women of the ss totally needs some big budget attention, it can't turn out like hobo with a shotgun. I think I'm going to do a few videos like this of my collection, keep it up man.

  • I enjoyed Your short Movie

  • NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Y0u h45 fu7ur4m4 411 f0ur 5350|\|5!

    U m34ni3!

  • I recently bought, Fire and Ice 2-disc limited edition. For some reason I thought you had that movie, but looking back here and your site you don't have it. I've been wanting to see that film, since it was made around the time Conan and The Beastmaster were popular in the theaters.

  • @DKrules9 That's one I've been wanting for ages, just never got around to it. Love Ralph Bakshi AND Frank Frazetta, so it's a must-buy for me. One of these days...likely on Blu-ray.

  • @Zaranyzerak I just checked online and the blu ray doesn't have the bonus 93 minute documentary on Frank Frazetta that the 2-disc dvd edition I have. It just has features from the single disc edition release of the dvd. I bought it because this 2-disc was cheaper than the single disc I saw in the bargain bin. I figured why not check out, since I've never seen nor heard of this film, other then thinking I saw it in your dvd collection video once, but it was actually rock and run you had

  • @DKrules9 Rock and Rule you mean, yeah. Good to know, looks like I'll have to track down that 2-disc DVD edition after all. Pretty significant omission to leave out a freakin' 93 minute documentary! Same thing happened with the Blu of Rock and Rule, actually. Light on extras, the 2-disc DVD has way more stuff - including a complete alternate cut of the movie with a different voice actor playing the voice of the lead character!

  • @Zaranyzerak the documentary is called Frazetta: Painting with Fire with audio commentary. I just checked and that can be bought individually and that comes with a bonus disc as well. I guess you can get the blu ray of fire and ice and just buy the 2-disc dvd of the Frazetta: Painting with Fire. I know that fire and ice on 2-disc dvd is cheap right now on amazon, but only for used copies. Frazetta: Painting with Fire is also cheap, but new on Amazon. Let me know what you decided to get.

  • @Zaranyzerak

african our european swallow Remember what happens in camelot stays in camelot. To bad they can't make a movie out of spamlot they have to tone it down to much and some of the jokes wouldn't work. Like in the play they hide the grail under the sit of some random person in the audience. Also they would be able to do the killer bunnie these days because of stupid PETA.

  • @Zaranyzerak

I love raplh Baksi too I have the original shorten super arbiged animated lord of the rings done as to films. The titlte of the dvd is misleading it does not contain the whole saga from begining to end ony about 65 minutes of scenes from the two towers and felloship of the ring. The return of the king was done about 2 to 5 years after this as seperate film. Also a word of warning.

  • @Zaranyzerak

there is alot of gore in the fights scenes with the orks so if you have sibling under the age of like 13 our 17 you might not want to watch this when there around. For some reason for the final film they toned it down alot there is violence but no gore. Starrting in the mid 1980 late 1970 parents got really fussie about content several companies came close to being sued. That how the soccer mons came

  • @Zaranyzerak

to be that we have today. Also spoiler alert several scenes have been cut out to save money warning the original return of the king was and fantasy adventure partial musical so w as the hobbit so if you can stomach stuff like that you might want to abort the hobit and return of a king. Also there were some contunity things changed so if your a fan hore don't watch this. Sad to say no shelob either.

  • Is that version of Sin City the version with The Hard Goodbye tp? If it is, then it seems you missed another graphic novel lol

  • @VictoryOnTheHill It is indeed! And good point, it didn't even occur to me to include that one...

  • This video is so epic. You have to do another overveiw when you get the time. That'd be so awesome...

  • It would be good to own the batman 1943 serial movie along with the 1949 one with lewis wilson and douglas craft for your super hero collection

  • @luisowen1 I used to have them both on VHS back in the day. I'll get the DVD versions at some point.

  • @JasonsEvilMind I do, but I don't have enough films form other notable directors to really warrant putting them in that section. I just called that the "Directors" section because I had several films by each of those particular 3 directors. Eventually I'll fill it out with some of the bigger directors. I've SEEN a lot of films by the directors you mention, just haven't got around to picking a lot of them up yet.

  • oh man i love supertroopers such a funny movie "the sonce berries taste like sonce berries" "so were you boys heading to, canada to get french fries and gravy, poutine"

  • I Got That Same Edition Of Black Hawk Down

  • Have you heard of Dogora? Not the Toho one, as much as I love it. But, there's another movie on Blu-Ray called Dogora. Do you know what that's about?

  • I have a huge collection of DVD movies to. But jst one shelf the size of the ones you have. I live in a small apartment so im out of space soon. But i dont own not one Bluray disc. I heard Total Recall was bad on Blueray, so i bought the DVD instead.

  • @Hoshang2 It helps to do your research first, definitely. Much like the early days of DVD, some Blu-ray titles really don't do all that the format is capable of. They've improved a LOT over the past couple of years, though, and there are some really superb quality titles out now.

  • Have you replaced your DVD collection to Blueray . Or just some movies.

  • @Hoshang2 Some. Not everything is out on Blu-ray yet.

  • Blueray is out now...

  • @Hoshang2 Oh gosh gee, really? (and it's Blu-ray, no "e") You really don't have a clue who you're saying that to, do you... This video is over two years old. I didn't get my PS3 until later. Descriptions are your friend. Try reading them some time.

  • you should get grindhouse . planet terror and death proof

  • God damnit! I want ran! It's just so freaking hard to find. It's terrible when you find a wonderful film on television then you can't find it.

  • Dude,If you don't have it yet you should get from dusk till dawn its directed by robert rodrigez and written by Quentin Tarantino its part crime film part vampire film but if you get it get the dimension collectors edition which comes with a 80 minute documentary about the making of the film

  • @gamerguy2207 Got it on Laserdisc, it also comes with the documentary, commentary, etc. Awesome flick!

  • Another Tarantino movie to get is Jackie Brown. It's often overlooked and under-appreciated, but it's Tarantino's most mature film to date. If you haven't seen it or don't own it yet, I strongly recommend it. It's very different from all his other work.

  • @Zaranyzerak

do you have any simpsons in your collection?

the most classic cartoon series of all time

  • @ShoutoutSophie Not yet. Given how many times I've seen most of the episodes, and how often it's repeated, I didn't see much point in going out of my way to collect them right away. So I've been focussing on other sets. But it's definitely one I plan to get at some point, LOVE The Simpsons!

  • Would you recommend the complete futurama series over the season sets?

  • I'm pretty sure it doesn't include anything extra that isn't already in the season sets, so you'd just be getting the same content in deluxe packaging. I'm not planning to swap my season sets for it. Plus it won't be "Complete" for long, since there's a new season in the works! :)

  • I'm not the only one who loves the making off stuff. I'm 12 and i have seen alot of the adult cartoons LOL i would love too have the amount of money you have so i could buy half those dvds

  • wow, i envy your collection. what a great taste i might add

  • I'm not made of money. Plus South Park is ALWAYS available, so I'm not in any rush to run out and get it. Most of the stuff in my cartoon section is 80's and 90's stuff that has an annoying tendency to go out of print really quickly...so I tend to focus on those. I'll get South Park eventually, it's on my must-get list, don't worry! :)

  • not everyone has south park some people don't like it

  • Is dilbert worth getting??

  • I'd say yes, it's one of our faves - we re-watch it pretty often. If you like the comic strip (or just office humor in general), you'll likely enjoy the cartoon. Plus it's fairly cheap these days!

  • I finally got around to getting Dilbert, and I must say, it was a funny and ingenious cartoon. It is a real shame it only lasted 2 seasons. I would have paid money to see more. Now this and Spider-man the cg animated series and 2 more cartoons that should have NEVER BEEN CANCELED!

  • Yes! Totally agreed on both of those.

We're big fans of the Dilbert cartoon here. And also saddened that it didn't last... I'll be doing a short review of the DVD set soon.

The CG Spider-Man series is sadly underrated. I thought it was very well done in terms of writing, acting and animation quality. And of course it just HAD to end on a major cliffhanger! Which I guess works fine as an ending too, just a really depressing one...

  • You have better taste in movies than probably anybody on Youtube. Monty Python movies are hilarious and Ridley Scott is one of my favorite directors.

  • damn im so jelous. hah so why do you only buy widescreens?

  • A couple of reasons - I want ot see the image as the director intended it to be seen, not losing any of the shot composition due to it being cropped to fullscreen. Also I just can;'t bring myself to pay full price for a movie knowing I'm only getting about half the picture. But the first reason is the main one. I want to see it the way it was shot and intended to be seen by the director.

  • oh i never knew that full screen cropped some of it out. thnks

  • Leon The Professinal fuck yea!! I Own that one too my fav

  • Isn't Tim Burton an Independant director, mostly, not Pee Wee ( his first) but the rest are, I'm pretty sure! Do you own any of his movies?

  • can u do a in depth review of pulp fiction and sin city please

  • Do you have Jaws anywhere in your collection? I'd say its kinda a must own movie but I dont think i've ever heard you mention it.

  • You should get the Evening with Kevin Smith DVDs they are hilarious

  • do you speak french?

  • I'd really like to get that documentary, I was surprised they didn't include it in the Complete dossier. And don't worry, I'm not planning to get rid of RAN any time soon - that's an awesome movie. :)

  • hey what's ran

  • It's a Japanese Samurai epic. Very well done, I recommend it if you like those types of films.

  • HEY ZARANYZERAK, are you going to get the making of Apocalypse Now documentary [Hearts of Darkness: A Filmmakers Apocalypse]? HEADS UP: RAN Criterion Collection is out of print so keep it as if your life depends on it.
