  • Unbelievable !! Its hard to believe someone like me built this huge thing

  • Worst ship ever. Ugly looks like a sinking waiting to happen. Ya, it's big but whats that have to do with the price of tea in china? If I ever get on this ship, I hit my head.

  • omg were u eatin?

  • that ship was so cool

  • D.A.M.N o_o :o

  • it is huge, looks like a city, I love him too!

  • Looks like the ship on Phloston Paradise. LOL.

  • That logo on the chimney, tells us it's actually an Autobot....Wonder how it transforms?

  • What I find interesting is how buoyant she is. Her draft is only 30 feet.

Must be that big fat belly holding her up.

  • Nice ship, but will it blend?

  • I'm an American getting married in two weeks on St. Thomas, brought there with this epic machine, can't wait. Thank you Finland

  • Well done Finland. You have built quite the ship there.

  • @heathey2 designed by korea, built by finland, ridden by fat-ass americans LOL

  • @SirHungryHippo, designed in Finland as well...

  • I don't think this ship is longer than Tiatanic though. But maybe bigger.

  • @TheJacobski Titanic was 269 m and Oasis is 360 m. :P

  • @Fotografiet You're right ^^ I like that you actually said in meter, I can't calculate feet to meters. :D

  • @TheJacobski hehe it might be because I'm from the same country as you. ;D Kan inte heller räkna om feet till meter. xP Hade varit väldigt skönt om alla började använda meter.

  • @TheJacobski OMG, did you see it, the Titanic was maybe Half the length of this ship...

  • @donmont10 definitely longer then half

  • the red bar is the size of justin biebers willy

  • this is one, fatass ship... :/

  • nice video, well done

  • @leaosSsS Thank you, I'm glad you like.

  • my god, modern ocean liners are ugly. They may be bigger than them but these ships have nothing on the old steamers.

  • @SSPoseidon846, I guess in these days we don't or can't pay much attention to aesthetics, especially with ships. You can't waste space.

  • @SSPoseidon846 its not even finished some of the windows havent been fitted and the funnels have been rowed down because its is so high!

  • Wow...

  • not enough life boats!...sod that..if that thing went down ur screwed!

  • It like a floating city!

  • boat building country 4-ever......

  • looks like a warsaw apartment building-ugly but functional. similar to walmart. sad comment on our times...

  • Lol this is like the gathering of the people to cheap to actually ride it

  • is it worlds largest ship or just worlds largest cruise ship?

  • @koalawithchaingun53 The largest cruise ship.

  • @Ercolano78 allure of the seas is a bit bigger than oasis

  • @Ercolano78 so what is the worlds largest ship???

  • @Ercolano78 what the hell is the largest ship, holy crap that would be a sight

  • @koalawithchaingun53 Only one oil tanker was bigger

  • @NoFL88, there's more than one...

  • @koalawithchaingun53

I think the world's largest ship is the USS Enterprise but I'm not sure. I know that this ship is quite close to the USS Enterprise as far as length is concerned.

  • @koalawithchaingun53 no the allure of the seas is 5 cm bigger. lol

  • My partner was on the ship, he sadi it was pretty amazing

  • This doesn't run away from icebergs, icebergs run away from it.

  • Someone knows, which date is the departure from Finland, Turku of Allure of the Seas? I'd like to go there to assist.

  • @SUCESSO07 Local newspaper says it's October 28th.

  • @Ercolano78 Thank you for the answer.

and do you know if Is it in morning or afternoon?

  • @SUCESSO07 Sorry I don't know that., but Oasis left at morning, so I'm quite sure that also Allure will leave at morning.

  • ooo kurwa , gigant

  • @zuzolo1 Gigantic :)

  • KOREAN POWAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @jchoi0918, what's, in reality, Korean in this ship? Shipyards are, if I've understood correctly, relatively independent units, so it doesn't really matter who own them - the ship was designed mainly by Finns and built by workers from 32 different countries in Finland.

  • I cruised on this ship last two weeks... Its damn huge and sooo much too do.

    Never a dull moment :)

  • It is absolutely an elaborate ship, but it is so bulky and top heavy that it looks ugly. The ships of the early 20th century from Olympic and Titanic up until the Queen Mary were better looking. This looks like a big building washed away in a flood.

  • New TItanic!

  • @dogkill, how so? Why wasn't SS Imperator "the new Titanic"? Or RMS Queen Elizabeth? Or SS Norway? They were all biggest ships of their time.

  • thats the most grotesque over-usage of resource I've ever seen. love the 100m wide ploom of exhaust rising from it visible at 4:14. people seem to be getting more and more detached from reality every day,

  • @danthemanzizzle, on the other hand there's always the economy of large units. It's probably better than two ships with a combined capacity equal to that of an Oasis-class ship.

  • @tupsumato i guess your right, i just think its silly that people are still starving to death by the thousands and dying of diarrea and such while the developed world lives it up on a bazzilion tonne cruise ship, but i guess saving peoples lives isn't profitable or easy, building bigger and better ships on the other hand, is..

  • @danthemanzizzle, well, as long as people want to take cruises, such ships will be built. The companies are not obliged to help starving people - they just give people, mostly Americans, what they want, and apparently in these days they want this instead of saving the diarrhea-dying Africans.

    .

And if you ask me, well, I'd rather see more orders for our shipyards...

  • @tupsumato yes yes, comsume and produce consume and produce. the mentality that supports our utterly undeniably unsustainable lifestyles.

  • @danthemanzizzle, "It is my birthright as an American..." ;-)

    .

I'd say going on a cruise is better than, say, flying to a faraway destination where the locals rape the environment to please the demanding tourists and fill beaches with tacky hotels and plastic beach chairs. The ship's transient effect on the local environment disappears over a relatively short period of time (as long as it's a new ship like Oasis of the Seas).

  • @danthemanzizzle dont forget that ships go to port in countries that rape and pillage to please tourists....

  • QM2 is still better looking and more tasteful.

  • can you imagine when they first shoved that thing off the dry dock? HOLY F**** $%@#$

  • Am I the only one who hears "Imperial March"?

  • jumalauta on iso vene

  • Made in Finland!

  • damn, its an inch bigger then my di*k

  • este es insumergible?

  • im going on the cruise this summer!!!!!!(= im so excited

  • shaky camera, and shaky panning. also, zoomed out shots are no good. get an image stabilizer this is like blaire witch in color.

  • President cabins for all ;)

  • Oasis of the seas maybe the biggest ship in the world & I love all Ocean Liners.... but, at the same time is she more special then Queen Mary 2?

  • holy fk thatwould fit in my badtub

  • about 10,000 i went on oasis

  • how much would it cost to go on a cruise?

  • @757Gucci If i remember correctly, it's 800-1000 dollars. More and better information you'll find from Royal Caribbean website.

  • I saw it when it was dock. They Allure of the Seas the sister if Oasis is being build in Finland and will be in Ft Lauderdale in December.

  • just like a floating city

  • Comment removed

  • iI was just on oasis of the seas for sprin break!! loved it so much i miss the guy i meet on it so much!!!

  • when the apocalypse happens, i want my dick in your moms ass.

  • imoing next week can't wait.........who's going next week

  • im going next week cant wait

  • How many people do you think can fit in each lifeboat??

  • @85iceman, 370 passengers.

  • I bet that's really healthy for the environment.

  • I bet no one gives a shit

  • Yeah you're probably right. No does give a shit which is a real big problem. An even bigger problem than the shit that's coming out of that ships funnel.

  • @BlackParis86. thank you sir. its a nice ship and a marvel of construction. some care and some dont care about the pollution

  • In all fairness, i bet the fuel used per passenger on this ship is probably less than a large car.

  • @ACdeanSEE, I don't think so. The hotel load is too great.

  • @BlackParis86 It is electric power with help of diesel to power the electric so not much shit is coming out

  • @averredude101, err... Electricity is produced with diesel generators, so it doesn't really matter in this case. Actually, considering the losses in the diesel-electric powertrain a diesel-mechanical version could be more economical (and therefore environment-friendly) if fuel consumption alone is concerned.

  • wow

  • Nice video we are hoping to go on this ship in sep

  • I hope you get there. My parents are on Oasis right now.

  • my cousin have been and build on that ship he have installed the GPS system + radar and he working for STX europe Turku Yards :D

  • I am going on it for winter break in 1 day it will rock we have a aqua sweet

  • It's like a floating apartment block.

  • Comment removed

  • No offence, but it isn't the biggest ship in the world. Biggest cruiser yes. Biggest ship in the world is Knock Levis (Jahre Viking). And Oasis of the Seas is not even close to "5 times larger than Titanic".. Titanic was about 270m and Oasis is about 360m. :P No offence

  • Comment removed

  • Bister2004

i think they were referring to tonnage.

    Titanic: Tonnage:46,328 GT

    Oasis: Tonnage:225,282 GT

I'm not getting in to the discussion on whether Oasis actually is 5 times larger than Titanic - i just wanted to point out that when talking about Oasis' size it's not about length.

You made a good point about Knock Nevis tho.

  • 270m was how long it was but there talking bout overall size, not just length. were talking width, height, all that kind of stuff.

  • exactly

  • Not the biggest ship yes but the Knock Nevis was not the largest ship in GRT. This was the Battilus class supertankers at 275,000 grt. The Knock Nevis was 260,000 grt. The Oasis is 225,282 grt. Almost as big.

The over 500 k ton figures for the tankers are deadweight figures different from actual ship size. Not enough character count remaining to get detailed

  • No its not. Silly person...

  • WoWWOWOWEEEEEEE..

I wonder what would be inside that ship.

  • caraca...que grande!!!huhauhau

  • floating shoe box!!!

  • Impressive piece of engineering.

  • If only they made it an ekranoplan then it would be perfect.

  • Wow that thing is massive! It's amazing how something so huge stays afloat...

  • That IS the ugliest thing afloat.

    Makes my skin crawl.

  • ITS BEAUTIFUL!

  • its a big top heavy lump..one little storm and it'll be over,,,not a scratch on the queen mary 2,..a proper ocean liner...the oasis will never leave protected waters,,,,,.....FACT,....

  • On its way over to Florida from Finland, it sailed seamlessly through 30 foot swells!

  • 80 foot :)

  • ACTUAL FACT!

  • I STAND CORRECTED!

  • Been on twice goin agen march 12 2010

  • I've been to many cruises, most of 'em from Royal Caribbean, but just from the videos, I can easily tell that this ship is something of a whole n'other scale. Incredible... This isn't a floating resort, it's a floating city!

  • wtf, is that guy taking a piss at 0:14?

  • the waves are probaly gunormas behind that boat.

  • Its the biggest boat in the world.

  • Not the biggest boat, but the biggest cruise ship.

  • The speed of this amazing ship ?

  • Wikipedia says it's 22,6 knots.

  • talk about a floatin ,mall

  • AMAZING!!! XD

  • i wanna go on this. royal carribeans the best

  • just wait itl tip over

  • finland fukin delivers.

  • Don't pass Somalia lol

  • Ha Ha. You're right. The somalian rubberboat will capture the whole ship. It's better to taka that to the Caribbean.......

  • @brifanza17 ROFL

  • They passed our cargo ship when we were going to Denmark. Fucking big ship.

  • It ' s incredible, i love this ship.

  • Be there so soon. I think 14 hours and counting. Life is outstanding.

  • meh..titanic looked better.

  • is a big cruise, 2 Boeing 747

  • ow my... is bigger than my cock brooo!

  • Look t the size of that bitch

  • That shit is huge :O

  • Little bigger than Titanic? :D

  • 300 feet longer than Titanic, not just a little

  • I can't WAIT to see this on Saturday when I got to Fort Lauderdale! :D

I'm not going on it though :( but Crown Princess is fine by me! xP

  • i hope it never sinks

  • OMG I never even noticed the people standing on the deck until he zoomed in.

  • I wanna sink that in Silent Hunter 4. :O

  • That is one big mother

  • holy shit! that thing must raise the water level in that place were those ppl are!

  • just saw it in ft. lauderdale. GIGANTIC!!!

  • yah.. captain jack sparrow should have tried to rob this incredible piece of shitt!!!

  • Im surprized the lake or the river isn't as shallow as it looks. Does anyone know how deep the ship is under water?

Thats an incredible piece of engineering.

  • That's sea, but it's deep inside the archipelago so it looks like a lake or a river. The shipping channel is dredged and has a depth of more than 10 meters.

Oasis of the Seas has a draft of 9.3 meters or 31 feet.

  • Only 9.3 meters under water? Thats crazy. For something so massive, I'd expect more to be under water.

  • Well, water is heavy and there's quite a lot of nothing inside those steel walls...

  • What a beautiful livestock carrier!

  • WOW that thing is HUGE!!!

  • Made in Finland. Believe or not This boat has many jobs, as it has been used in over 8000 man years of work

(sorry my bad English i am using google translator)

  • Haha...people are fighting over what the ship looks like

  • it's like two huge multilevel buildings were loaded on both sides of a long ship.

  • To be honest, it looks fairly ugly from the outside. It lacks colour, unlike the Liberty! :) Now the worlds 2nd largest cruise :(

But I bet its absolutely phenominal inside!

    <3

  • Omg, why do i get the feeling something bad will happen to this ship in 2012, 100 hundred years after titainc

  • Because you're functionally retarded?

  • @plutonic0 yea but so was George bush

  • Stuff's crazy... bigger than the Bismark.

  • A giant floating mega-casino, soon to be full of tourists. Not really my thing...

  • Believe me, its nothing like that. I haven't been on the Oasis (obviously!) but I've been on the Liberty. Incredible experience! I highly recomend it! :)

    <3

  • That is going to make one hell of an artificial reef! Man the lifeboats!!

  • OK come on and read the facts before you post something. This is the largest CRUISING ship in the world!

  • no, its not the biggest in the world, there is an oil tanker which is slightly bigger than this i think

  • slighty? the oil tanker is 3 times as long mabye more as far im sure.

  • looked it up and the tanker is 450m oasis of the seas is 360m so 90m in it

  • ok well its still longer,

  • @CrazyCars552 god himself cannot sink this ship

  • Comment removed

  • this isnt the biggest ship in the world is it?

  • No. The Knock Nevis is.

  • that thing looks so unbalanced
