  • Retards GET SOME WATER

  • That poor man on fire near the end is one of the most shocking and upsetting things I have ever seen. Remember this happening when I was little. The club had been warned for years to sort the problem of rubbish collecting under the stand for years

  • Bradford 11/05/1985 ...56 deaths

  • Bradford City, 11th May 1985. 56 people died in this disaster which changed rulings with the design and building of football stadiums all over the UK and Europe. The man at 6.00 sadly died along with many others. Within 4 minutes the gentle flicker of a flame had turned the stadium into a burning inferno.

  • wat kind of morons would be chanting during something like this? probably the ones that started the fire in the 1st place. DId people die?, its hard to understand the mentality of some soccer mad dickheads that think starting a fire is great fun, never mind the consequences of the actions.

  • Damn. The Brits know how to have a good time.

  • @Wildcat425B Maybe you'd like to re-think what a 'good time' is when you realise that 56 people lost their lives in the fire. 12 teenagers perished, the youngest being 11. Still find it humorous?

  • damn

  • How in Sam Hell did that fire spread so damn quickly?

  • @jonasnight a old, wooden stand, with a roof coated in plastic and sealed with tar.

  • @jonasnight Back in 1985 the stadiums were nearly all made of wood. The investigations led to the fire being started by a cigarette stub (smoking was allowed then) or a lit match. Sadly there was a build up of rubbish under it which helped to fuel the flames. The wind had changed direction that day and was fanning the flames. Saddest irony of all is the stadium was due to be demolished directly after that game and a new metal framed one which was laying in the car park was to be erected.

  • @jonasnight Because Bradford's stadium back in 1985 was made out of wood.
