I have lost faith in the disappointing single player some DLC won't change that. The Mutiplayer however has improved vastly and you can actually get into a game this time round.
AC2 was awesome, but the game's main story line after that went down hill from there. I don't mind the fact that Ubisoft put a lot of effort into the Muiltiplayer online, probably making them not concentrate as much on the single player. Ubisoft, should probably by more concerned on the main storyline of AC3 rather than the online. Perhaps they should make more games after AC3 as well since most fans would like to carry on the franchise but only if the storyline is good :) NICE JOB SO FAR GUYS!!

One last final trophy ( Sage - Collect all books ) was in my way from recieving the satisfaction of completing a game i was enjoying. Until now...after purchasing the final book in the game no trophy had been unlocked. Researching on the internet i learnt that the trophy is bugged due to a incompetent poor update 1.02 that bugged this trophy and now I am sitting here dissapointed with no platinum trophy for my hard work and enjoyment. Great Ubisoft thanks for ruining your game.

@ThatYardSister They are doing the games quick because they need to make them before the supposed end of the world in 2012 considering that is the time of the game and a catastrophe is going to happen soon, most likely in the next game, which will mean the end of the whole end of the world 2012 stuff for the assassins creed games.

Even tho I loved revelations it was too short. As Ezio's final chapter it should have been 20 sequences. Ezio's story to me, is still untold. For singleplayer DLC u should have another chapter of Ezio or u should play as Shao Jun and Ezio leaves his memories imprinted on those keys again to guide Shao Jun so she could rise up to be the Master Assassin of China. Or even Ezio's son Marcello who didnt even get a part in Embers! Flavia would be pretty cool aswell. Please Ubisoft more SINGLEPLAYER!

@ImTheJamez If you were an AC obsessive you'd have gotten the encyclopaedia and known that there are an unknown number of Pieces of Eden, including many apples, and that the one Ezio had was different to Altaïr's. There's your answer. And get playing multiplayer - it's awesome.
I don't mind them having DLCs, but I don't play multiplayer so I can't say anything about it. The first AC was really great, the second one also, even the Brotherhood, but Revelations blew my mind. I mean, the end was extremely satisfying. And I would love to see some DLCs for single player. :>
I'll agree singleplayer needs to be harder and the story line is a little bit off since AC2 but the gameplay is still absolutely fantastic! and I don't believe it's multiplayer's fault for singleplayer's flaws. I love both singleplayer and multiplayer and always will love Assassin's Creed :)

IMO adding the multiplayer mode was the best thing they could have done and hopefully the new things they've added will make it even more enjoyable.

@grendel2900 I see what you're saying, but their online engine isn't really built around direct combat. The way their combat system is, I would foresee a lot of cheaters manipulating the system to get their timing perfect and win matches in seconds. Also I'm not sure anybody would be interested in just hacking at the opponent's sword until they break their guard or attack back.
Why do you always release big, well armoured characters like the gladiator? It's so unrealistic that you're not going to notice a guy in great clanking armour following you!
A bit lame that these characters have identical killing moves with already existing character, but hey, since I'm gonna get this for free I don't mind that much ;)
Though this is probably a nice addition to the Multiplayer aspect of AC:R, (I'm yet to go to multiplayer..) I'd rather DLC was released that was single player, not Multiplayer. A game has to stand up on single player alone and not have to be padded out by multiplayer. By all means have it, but a greater proportion focused on SP rather than MP will bring out the shine in a game more than adding more maps/classes for the MP-world of today's uneducated children to scream down their mic at me.
@lMX14l I think MP is a good add-on... but they shouldn't sacrifice Single Player for it... which unfortunately... they've done with brotherhood... the story just felt... undeveloped... i have yet to play revelations.

@aicarambaalguem 1 was the worst. 2 was the best because of all the new stuff and adressed feedback from 1. Because there weren't alot of negative comments from 2(as there was in 1), they didn't improve the core game that much in Brother, that's why Brother and Reve are like expansion packs.
I thought the Brigand was a bit disappointing... i thought she would be a bit more like the Smuggler from brotherhood! but the Corsair is my new favorite of all the personas now!
assassins creed and online dont realy mix in my opinion it just takes away from single player as less memory can be used for single player as a certain amount of memory on the disc has been taken by the online feature that actually gets boring very quickly :(
so please ubisoft (if your reading this) fix this and make the games longer like ac 1 and 2 brotherhood was really short and so was revelations

Though this is probably a nice addition to the Multiplayer aspect of AC:R, (I'm yet to go to multiplayer..) I'd rather DLC was released that was single player, not Multiplayer. A game has to stand up on single player alone and not have to be padded out by multiplayer. By all means have it, but a greater proportion focused on SP rather than MP will bring out the shine in a game more than adding more maps/classes for the MP-world of today's uneducated children to scream down their mic at me.

@lMX14l I think MP is a good add-on... but they shouldn't sacrifice Single Player for it... which unfortunately... they've done with brotherhood... the story just felt... undeveloped... i have yet to play revelations.

@aicarambaalguem 1 was the worst. 2 was the best because of all the new stuff and adressed feedback from 1. Because there weren't alot of negative comments from 2(as there was in 1), they didn't improve the core game that much in Brother, that's why Brother and Reve are like expansion packs.

assassins creed and online dont realy mix in my opinion it just takes away from single player as less memory can be used for single player as a certain amount of memory on the disc has been taken by the online feature that actually gets boring very quickly :(
so please ubisoft (if your reading this) fix this and make the games longer like ac 1 and 2 brotherhood was really short and so was revelations

dont see the point in this all the characters may look different but its the same old shit stun, run then kill very slowly, boring if you ask me if the multiplyer was like red dead redemption including the minigames and the whole map of constantinople then it would more fun

More of the same would be nice. And please don't bundle single player and multiplayer dlc because it would be a waste as I'd only use 50% of it which would be a waste of money...

At first I thought "yeah I will join this and I will get beat by pro's all the time".
But I stick to Team Based play and trust me it is awesome.
You must try a artifact capture. I play mostly on defense but hell when I defend, nothing gets true... except for an enmey player but ssshhhhh :)
