  • Good lord - just wonderful! Thanks so much for posting. Y'all rock!

  • Nice. You guys got this one down good. The drummer seemed to have a good feel for this.

  • It's like watching Jimmy the way he would be today.

  • this is why you tube is fantastic. i just watched three dudes break-off my top live hendrix cut. pali gap, really...that will be enjoyed another day.

  • vocals are weak but everything else is good

  • kidding me? its perfect, best voice for covering hendrix ive heard!!!

  • nothing wrong with his voice or anything but, "best voice for hendrix" ,ive heard better

  • that was baller

  • i'm from chile, sudamerica.. you're so great...

i'm stoned and this is fantastic...

  • Wow, It takes a lot to impress me, and i´m very impressed!! Very groovy trio, 5 stars of course!!

    Cheers,

    Nico

  • great cover

  • ur gd, dis was 1 of his best songs

  • Nice!

  • keep on rocking Hendrix forever!

  • After viewing the comments on your profile, kevbo, it seems that you've got a few problems. One of them being that you like to instigate problems so that people will respond to you. You're lonely, and you need social interaction outside of the internet.

    Simply put: get a life.

  • It's obvious that you're neither a Hendrix fan nor a musician. You sound like the kind of guy who would prefer Boy George.

  • I do play an instrument but I'm not a musician. I prefer to think of musical geniuses as musicians. I'm talking about the likes of Frank Zappa just to name one. I'm already certain my musical brain trumps the size of yours because no person that appreciates musical talent thinks of Hendrix as a great player. He was original and that is all.

  • I agree with you regarding Zappa. However, it seems your "musical brain" is outnumbered by at least 1000 to 1 on the message boards.

  • This is youtube...

  • Your point being?

  • Half the people are just fans of Jimi's. They really have no clue about musical ability. I like some of his songs but to call him a genius is just out of the question. He just made the right noise at the right time as did the Beatles and so on. He was mediocre compared to some real musical talents and that prevents me from saying he is the best thing that ever touched a guitar. I have the same purpose as anyone, to express my opinion. You don't have to agree. That doesn't make me feel wrong.

  • Fair enough. We can agree to disagree. I also happen to think the Beatles were musical geniuses as well.

  • Man, you've got SOME BIG ONES, Dude! I really get a kick out of some of you wanna-be YouTube critics. The ARROGANCE! Guess what? Frank LOVED Jimi!. Jimi jammed with the Mothers once and at one point, Frank just put his guitar down, sat and enjoyed watching Jimi play with his band. He even included Jimi on the cover of "We're Only In It For The Money" Genuises of a feather ROCK together!

  • I strongly disagree with kevbo67

  • Oh and FYI that was my younger bro posting bone-head crap on other vids and getting those responses.

  • Jimi was original and that is all?...a pink car, this is original, jimi,he just recreate the music,he has wrote a bible with his song,he just show how to all the guitarists in the world how much this is important to play,he is the father of all the real Rock Star in the world. His life wasn't like that because the rock was like that, the spirit rock is like that cause his life was what she was. Einstein was a génius, E=MC²..so what?Jimi was a génius, voodoo chile? it's deeper...

    sorry fir my english

  • Pour l'époque, je peut te dire que E=MC² c'était aussi un putain coup de génie. Mais je suis d'accord ac toi sur Jimi ^^

  • Frank Zappa fucking kidding? Hendrix had feeling

  • casal have you read jimi's biography... its called "room full of mirrors" i actually just finished it recently and its incredible and it described this song like you did about the club... if you havent, you should read it.

  • No, I don't ever read this... but I know how Jimi's named his songs... I know Jimi's life from 1968...

    Thanks for your comment

    Peace and Happiness

  • i wish my uncle or grandpa could jam like that! lol

  • they are old!

  • Would have made Jimi proud. Great clip guys.

  • incredible

  • boy i will tell you what this song has to be my at least 3rd favorite hendrix song and you guys played it to a T. good job i must say actually GREAT job that is what i want to do but i cant find any bassists or guitarist that arent already in a band who love jimi and all blues/rock music but again great job guys

  • Dam! This guy has Hendrix Feeling in his playing, the whole band does.Great enjoy watching it.

    Were are they from?

  • man this song never gets old and where do you guys reside?

  • Your right this song will "never" get old...

  • WHOA. LIKE... WHOA. I want your cover on my ipod now XD

  • Bookmaring all these songs.

(I played in a Hendrix "tribue" band when I was younger... but back then there weren't really any "tribute" bands, we just happened to play a sh*load of Jimi's music.)

This is an extremely excellent version of the song!

  • nicee ..

  • That was awesome, guitar sounds great, good sound.

  • Very nice!

  • You're really awesome and I love this song, too.

  • Hello ! Thank you so much for this... Jimi's music is so good for the soul. Electric church huh ?

thanks for watchin' us, thanks to Jimi...'s MUSIC

  • u guys are cool

  • man great job

    what year is that strat?

  • thanks, body 1970, neck 1965..

  • You know you're inspiring when you make me immediately drop what I'm doing to go jam--I'm like in a trance after watching, and I love that feeling. Thank you.

  • I get like that too.. *grabs les paul*

  • Actually, you guys are pretty good. Try to hit the feedback more though. Other than that, everyhting was nice, and even the tone of the voice sort hit it, it's just I can barely hear it.

  • Wow, another amazingly excellent song done amazingly well.. are all your songs Hendrix covers, or have you covered other bands material or made your own?

  • Yes we are a "exclusiv" Hendrix Cover... and I try to do my own... But after 30 years of Hendrix music... all I can do is Jammin' on Hendrix's songs...

  • ONE MORE TIME EXCELLENT! This is a pretty difficult song and you guys the cover you are playing just sounds excellent!

  • Ur drummer and bassist are freaking rock solid too

Seriously, nice chops guys. You should put up some originals.

  • what pickups are used in the strat?

  • original 1970 PU...

  • hooray, i can play this song too! just not quite the solo you did, i play what he recorded... not as good as that yet

  • since 1968, Jimi "jam" on his solo, he take a little part of the original solo, then he close his eyes and let and let take all the feelings of the moment...

That's what I'm trying to do...

    Thanks

  • Awesome cover!

is that an original '69 stratocaster, because it sounds just like jimi

  • no, is a '70 original body with a '65 neck... plug

    on a '94 Mesa Boogie DC5

    Thanks to have listened us

  • just out of curiosity, do you have the right handed guitar flipped around just to imitate Hendrix, or is that how you've learned and played since you started?

  • When I started to play(end of 1969), I was a "normal" guitar player, but 3 month after, I saw Jimi on TV, then I turn to left... Playing Hendrix's music, is my way to thanks Jimi everyday...

  • is that a right handed guitar played as a lefty?

btw, you guys kick! guitar player... that was amazing, you guys rule

  • Yes, is a right hand guitar, thanks for your comment

  • Just EXCELENT:!! PERFECT!! Thanks GOD.!!

  • thanks to you
