  • That is exactly what I do when Abe acts up. I keep him collected and tap him with the whip. Yes, yes I said whip. Notice I said tapping, I DO NOT hurt Abe. How could I? He is the haflinger in my picture :P

  • @mackkhorse he has a high knee gate

  • @mackkhorse I think his canter looked different because he has

  • you look great on that horse ;)

  • can i use some of theese clips for a video im making?

  • The first one that is

  • nice horse! beautiful jumper

  • go forward Lindsey!! haha! pretty horse

  • that gray horse was hyper but the rider rode it out well good job

  • @KnG1Dakota I've seen worse.. And I've been riding for like 6 months. If that horse is hyper, I dunno what I saw then.

  • Where is this? We're moving to Vancouver island in 2013...scouting around for the best events etc :) thanks

  • @xkanethebeastx This is in Kelowna - in the Okanagan, BC. I've just uploaded videos of this years event that just happened this past weekend. A couple of the vids are attached here. There is also a playlist of them.

  • that grey horse is just how my horse acts but teddy has gotten better so im happy and yah keepng a strung horse collected is very hard ask me cause at shows my horse likes to be a but head but i always keep him collected cause i know I shouldnt let him do that for everything saying she is a ba rider Id love to see you ride my horse or her horse at a show, so leave them alone,

  • i love the gray horse he looks like so much fun, and a great jumper!!! i want 'em

  • Great video of some great rounds- caputured the essence of the show to me- I actually AM a trainer and I very much liked that young grey and thought his rider laid down a good clean round... what a lovely expressive mover!

  • dont get me wrong below, hes an amazing athlete and he fly's over those jumps but I don't think hes trained enough to be competing at that level

  • I do not think the gray horse is happy being a jumper. He looked very distressed the whole time with his ears back over every jump and I don't know if that was from not warming up or what but I think he might do better doing something else.

  • It looks beautiful and peaceful there

  • Very well done (:

  • the grey horse is gorgeous! he looked a tad bit crazy, but still beautiful! also, why did his canter look different?

  • i dont know what youse are all talking about.. both these horses look amazing. :)

the grey one was more highspirited but sometimes you have just got to adapt to the horses personality instead of fighting it..

thats what both these riders did with these horses :)

    i say, well done!

  • @Love2KnowIT I'm sorry I don't agree with u that showers, like many of us out there, don't have any balance. I have fallen off more then ten times but that's what makes u a better rider. We all have to go through bucks and rears and we may get thrown off but u learn from ur mistakes

  • im making a horse jumping video and i am wondering if i can use this

  • The last rider is amazing..her position never changes..her heels stay down she has cofendence and dose the fences even tho her horse is being funny. :) amazing ride

  • I though both riders were good but I adored the second riders style, would love to ride like her! :)

    Xxxxxxxxxxxxx

  • OMG the first rider is sitting horrible!XD

  • GO CANADA!!!!!!!!!:).

  • that last rider wuz well brave, the horse i jump with, sox (hes happiest when jumping), is so slow that evry kick or whip you use he bucks strongly, and i lose my stirrup over jumps becuz of it, i think she had really gud balance tbh, and its not the horses fault, it probably dusnt like havin sumbody on its bak, thts all (: x

  • it is true. english and show western riders are some what stuck up. they think they know everything. they have no idea what they are missing like barrel racing and all that junk. show riders cant ride a barrel horse very good they have no balace.

  • @Love2knowIT Thats not completely true... Not ALL of them, sure alot, but not all.

  • @Love2knowIT Are you saying barrel racers don't act bitchy? That a huge misconception on your part. Barrel racers are just as stuck up as the rest of us.

  • @Love2knowIT boy insulting much? i respect your opinion but SERIOUSLY? I know I'm not stuck up, if anything I degrade myself, :D

  • the first rider was really good and the second rider had great control! the gray horse was beautiful! XD

  • the grey was handled extremely well. end of story.

  • Comment removed

  • First rider had a beautiful "hunter-like" poise and refinement. Her horse knew its job and was just as well traied. Second rider hade a more effective seat and did a great job of keeping her horse togther. I don't think the first rider could have been as poised with as fresh of a mount as she was on her seasoned campaigner.

  • that last horse looked like it was strides away from completely going ballistic!! lol i was totally waiting haha

  • @lovsguitar180 - you shouldn't hope for something bad to happen with a horse and rider on course. The horse is clearly young and learning, not enough experience for this level, but I see potential in him.

  • @kab1972 she never said she was hoping. maybe she was expecting.

  • both riders did very well! the second rider needed to open up her shoulders a bit more though

  • that ' s not international!! that's A or L but not S ! It can be a high E, too. but not S

    i ' m sure that that ' s not international!

  • i think the second rider had a much better seat. than the first. the first sat too far back but the second had a little more of a halfseat. good riding

  • tke it esy movnpics. gramr aint dat imprtnt

  • nice!

  • them horses are soo pretty!! they look really tall and had really good riders!! the rider who was riding the grey, had such great control of that stubborn horse!! the grey was beautiful though as was the bay.

  • Well ridden, by both riders. Grey horse looks not an easy ride, but the rider was good, kept control and balance, maybe with more experience, the horse will settle. She did a v good job of keeping him together and focused and balanced - sign of a good experienced rider. Well done, good video!

  • you guys kinda remind me of the reason i stopped taking my horse to riding club. you're so stuck up being bitchy towards each other. and by the way the grey horse is higly strung and i think that the rider does well to keep her horse in a collected position and you should cut her some slack because all of you people who have ever ridden highly strung horse should know that it is hard to once your horse gets excited about something

  • know exactly what u mean remy2108!...people get so stuck up about horse stuff sometimes...i dont take my horse to english shows anymore i just started going to western and showing trail people r so nice!

  • Thats kinda stereotypical dont you think? Im not trying to be biased but western people can be just as big of bitches as English riders can be.

  • ya well thats been my experience, im well aware there r stuck up people all over the world but going from english to western has been the biggest difference ive seen....i dont get how i was stereotypeing anyone i never said english riders r all bitches i said that y i stoped taking my horse to english shows because of how horrible everyone was to eachother

  • It dosn't matter what the style, show riders are all a little stuck up. If you think its just english try a Western Plaesure show.

  • im aware of that i just had a whole convo with someone else about it read what i wrote i explained myself...and i show western pleasure i know some people can be that way in both thats just life...like i said to its just been my experience...guess you didnt read my last few relys to other people i didnt mean to be steriotypical...i was just agreeing with someone elses comment that had the same experience as me sorry if i came off the wrong way

  • @remy2108 I totally agree. I hate how riding has become such a stuck up sport. What happened to just riding for fun?

  • @remy2108 amen , the same thing happend to me at pony club. it was like, fuck all of you guys.

that girl on the grey is very good

  • @remy2108 - the grey horse is nice, but needs work before competing at this level.

  • @remy2108 i agree with you 100% that girl did an amazing job handling that grey horse. It also has a very nice jump in him/her.

  • The grey horse reminds me of one of my horses, but with a little more power. =]

  • hey abwick

i think you are quite rude..

  • You are not one to talk, you don't even have videos of yourself jumping, let alone on a horse. And I would like to believe most professional riders have some knowledge of proper grammar. Next time try harder, and maybe you might have a 2% chance of making people think you know anything.

  • That's a little bit stuck up to assume you have to be correct at grammar and spelling to be a professional horse rider, would you not agree. I have many friends that are superb at horse riding, but have bad education through no fault of their own. Whether you can horse ride or not does not depend on your education.

  • Further more, the first jumper was a little stiff through her back, shoulders and arms, but that's nothing that can't be improved. I wouldn't say the grey is a poor rider though, the horse is just very high strung.

  • Well sure, I know I am not an English teacher or anything by no means or a professional rider, but "u" is not a word nor does it replace the word you. Right? And what I said was not going on as you have a good education to be a good rider, but most people who are trying to be convincing of a point try to use proper grammar. -Also, no I am not looking to make a fight out of this either.-

  • @abwick These are jumper classes... position doesn't matter.

  • De u no who ur tellin how 2 jump ?? I'm nt questionin the hrses scope or jump ability Im just commenting on hes shapes over th fences

  • he's got textbook perfect form over the fences

  • It'z clearin dem bu nutin special

  • Makes a crap shape over his fences

  • No That horse was perfect going over them bars! You obviously dont know how to jump.
