Sure Tom and Jerry shouldn't speak but It's kinda sad listening to all these idiots that have already seen the movie on their tvs searching for clips on youtube just to complain about them talking. It's alright for people that have not seen the movie before to say so. A good part of my childhood and not as bad as people say :)

I didn't even laugh...I mean, really, a musical? blood? almost no action, violence, chases? TOM AND JERRY TALKING THROUGHOUT THE WHOLE MOVIE W/ THOSE ANNOYING VOICES?!?

In my book, this movie was an insult to the WHOLE T&J franchise and is one the worst movies I have ever seen.

@theGMANtheBOSS They didn't talk throughout the whole movie. To start out w/ they didn't talk but later on they did & it's funny the way they surprised each other by talking.

Ok, this movie could've actually worked if:

1. Tom's owner at the beginning had still been Mamma Two Shoes.

2. There were no GHASTLY musical numbers!! Ugghhh!

3. The whole TOm and Jerry speaking thing could've been ok if they'd maybe had different voice actors. Just my opinion, but I wasn't fond of the voices they gave them.

If the 3 above were included, I honestly think this movie could've worked. But they weren't, so it didn't.

Not necessarily, as there were a few brief speaking parts for Tom in some cartoons as well as his singing (or more accurately, lip-synching) various songs. Jerry, though, only spoke in ONE cartoon (two speaking roles if you count the Gene Kelly "Anchors Aweigh" segment)
