I had one of these and my god when it got into the 3rd part oh boy did it kick me around made me fell right sick which was pretty strange for me as i smoke full body cubans all day with no side effects
Bryan Glynn, I'm looking for a smoke in the daily smoke price range that is medium body at best with an emphasis on creamy, coffee, aromatic flavors and less on the pepper and spice. Have any suggestions?
I've never had any burn issues with any of Oliva's eponymous lines. Had some mild burn issues with a Cain Daytona and one of the Nubs, but both of those self-corrected. I'm sitting on a Serie V torpedo now, and I'm just waiting for a big meal to to cap it.
I really like the Oliva brands. I went to a tasting and I convinced the rep to give me a taste of the Cain F. Ended up getting a box of them and 2010 sampler pack this churchhill is in it, the torpedo, robusto and diadema(2 sizes). I found they do get a wavy burn but it doesn't effect the smoke for me.
Oliva Serie V cigars just may be my brand of choice. I had a torpedo and out of all the cigars I've had so far, it was my favorite. i of course, kept the band from it too.
I have smoked every size of this cigar except for the churchill. I have three churchills in my humidor I am looking forward to smoking. Every other size that I have smoked has been outstanding, with the robusto and lancero being my two favorites. You just can't go wrong with this stick.
Thanks Bryan for your thoughtful reviews. You are an excellent resource whether I am considering my next cigar purchase, or your just helping me remember a great cigar.
You can get the series V in a couple different sizes. If you get the ones that sell for $8-10 it is a great deal. This is my favorite cigar I've ever had in this price range.

They are very different, only similar in the smooth refined smoke. Checkout the descriptions of both reviews :)
