no, wildshadow, gin is from ginga nagareboshi gin. that's the series that comes before ginga densetsu weed. :) although gin does make a few appearances in GDW... X3

Yes, storywise it was first Ginga Densetsu Riki (Gin's father), then Ginga Nagareboshi Gin and then Ginga Densetsu Weed (Gin's son), but the order they made those was first GNG in 1983, GDW in 1999 and GDR in 2000. Note. I'm talking about the mangas, not the anime.
