Ruki (Matsumoto Takanori) is the vocalist, he usually has stripes down his neck and is ten centimetres shorter than the rest. Also, he has five piercings in his right ear.

Reita (Suzuki Akira) is the bassist, and wears a band over his nose. It's not clear why, but Kai said in an interview that it's a part of Reita's image now.

Aoi (Shiroyama Yuu) is the rythmic and acoustic guitarist, and he had a piercing in his lip before, but he has now removed it..

Uruha (Takashima Kouyou) is the lead guitarist, and he is mostly seen with blond or brown-blond hair. Other than that it's kind of hard to tell him from the others, but as you listen to more of their music you'll get used to it and recognize his face :) Trust me, we've all been there.

Kai (Uke Yutaka) is the drummer and also the band leader, he mostly has black short hair, but has had a super-long ponytail, too. The best way to recognize him is his smile and dimples.

@youneveri Well, it all depends what kind of music you like. I myself also completely fell for VAMPS and L'arc~en~Ciel, although their music is completely different from the Gazette, for that matter. From other non visual bands i would say ELLEGARDEN is great :)

If you like visual, well, i guess you could also start with the roots of it - Malice Mizer and X-japan are a must in my opinion. And sorry i'm answering after such a long time - it was a busy month :)

This is so strange for me since...I remember the reason why I got into JRock was because of the two artists known as Anna Tsuchiya and Olivia Lufkin. They both were singers in NANA...which led me to watch the movie. Which led me to Glamorous Sky by Mika Nakashima. Which ended up with Girugamesh. Which led me into a world of JRock and The Gazette. Wow...this is such a great feeling. I love this band. So different from the rest...so passionate in music and great.
