Some years ago I was walking in a residential area close to a University and a flautist was practicing this piece. I was mesmerized at the ethic. Eight bars, oops. Start over. Eight bars, oops, start over. Nine bars, got it, do it again.
I'm a male flutist and I gotta say you inspire me! I am entering in my own concerto competition! You play with great style and confidence! Good lucky with everything you do! =]
Oh god, this piece is so amazing. I'm planning on playing it for my senior year in both my county's orchestra and if it's available for piano, solo and ensemble. You did an amazing job. (:
Hey! I really like this. But don't let the audience catch your mistake. You shook your head a bit after the first phrase. I feel that if you did not, then some people may not have noticed it! :)
Hey that's too amazing!!! I'm just sitting and listening it with opened mouth for 3rd time...and I'll do it again :-D Does anybody know where could I get sheet music for this beautiful piece?
Good version but sometimes you are not on time with the orchestra, moreover, i like your version, i started play this concert and heard your version is a good referent to me. Be careful the last note is a false note, not correspond to the final..........altought, you're great but to be in consideration the things who i think,
Very important thing about music is for you to try above of your limits, so if you can get a mediocre high G, youll most likely get a high F very easily
Um .. I don't see how playing a high G will help me with the high F. I meant the high F at the END of the piece, not like an above the staff F. That's no problem, I've been playing for nine years. I can hit up to a D below the high F that I'm speaking of.
That was awesome. The tempo was wild but I think your tone and everything are just astounding. People train for years trying to get that clear of a tone, and your low notes are really lovely to listen to. Very well done, mate.

Nice show, but please share some attention from show behaviour, to that half of the piece with missed and cracked notes. Anyway, thank you a lot for promoting the flute. That's extremely important.
Minus all of the cracked notes, some careless runs, and the accidental repeated note on the 2nd page of this movement a couple of lines down, this is pretty good.
Don't play fast because you can, play fast because you should.

this is one of the most difficult pieces for flute, but it is not that gfast to use double staccato, ther is something that help you to do simple staccato faster, just buy a piccolo, because when playing it, you have to make your mouth smaller to fit the embochure, an it makes put your tongue lower and the articulation goes up to the palate

Yeah me too.. At least they could have taken the whole last cadenza instead of jumping to the middle of it..
The best way is to use both of your middlefingers and the 2nd hebel (trill key). Remember always on the high notes to be far from the edge.
Of course it is very difficult but with this way I could get the f about 80 or 90% of the times.
Hope you can make it work, and don't bother to question again about whatever it might be.

Amazing! A girl at my 5 week orchestra camp played this for a competition too. But I never got to hear it with orchestral accompaniment
