hey. I am conducting this demo for my class for a project

how did u put the hydrochloric acid and zinc into the pringles can?

did you pour it into the cap or did u pump it into the closed bottle?

@borrms08 we had the hydrochloric acid and zinc in a flask with a hose connecting the flask to the bottom of the pringles can, we kept the flask in the sink so the gas wouldn't have trouble rising up into the can

u can do slowmo on windows movie maker...u just gotta go into effects...then look for the slow motion option

you need a source of hydrogen...we used zinc in hydrochloric acid (dangerous stuff) to fill the can with hydrogen

we then removed the tube feeding the can leaving a big whole in the button (so oxygen can fill the can) and poked a small hole at the top

we lit the whole at the top (this is where oxygen and hydrogen combine)

now just stand back

try to get a safer source of hydrogen thou..that acid was reacting like crazy (pH 1 and 90something% pure)
