Interestingly, since the Alpha Stigma does not increase Ryner's power that'd mean that even without it he'd be just as dangerous, it just helps him learn magic faster and react easier to hostiles but it is still his own power behind the spells. He reminds me of Kazuma from Kaze no Stigma, that is, Kazuma's second layer of his facade. Kazuma pretends to be heartless to cover a fake apathetic personality to cover his fake playboy-ish ID to hide his true caring and sympathetic persona.
