The JF-17 is much better than the MiG-21 for sure, it is a Mirage 2000-F-16A type, now they are improving it, but certainly is a match for aircraft like the F-16, MiG29, Mirage 2000 or SU30 but you can not expect it to be good in everything.

On the other hand IAF and Indian media is saying the current capabilities of inducted LCA are even lower then MiG21bison and we are debugging it. If it is weaker then the current MiG21s then how we could compare it with JF-17.

JF-17 is not comparable to Su-30. Su-30 is far superior. However JF-17 can be compared with mig-29 of inAF..
