  • The scriptures are VERY CLEAR about this topic. All those so called women pastors, preachers ect are in ERROR. God would NEVER contradict His word! These women need to step down

  • 1 Timothy 2:9-15 / 1 Corinthians 14:33-34 / 2 John vers.9. These ten verse says it all; you can ignore them; but they want go away. The bible says what will a man give for his soul?

  • I am Orthodox christian and i dont think woman should be pastors. I will never sit and listen to a woman preaching in church cos i didnt grow up that way.

  • if God says ask their husbands at home, means the men has more understanding tha women,in another words men is more smarter. and anyway God only sees women trought their men, thas way he says will be one flesh,if is only one flesh how come HE will see them separately??????

  • Ephesians 4:11

"So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers,"

    Can a woman be:

    Apostle - No;

    Prophetess - Yes;

    Evangelist - Yes;

    Pastor - No;

    Teacher - No

  • It seems pretty clear that positions of authority and governance in the church and at home are not open to women. I am actually looking for a church to attend and I'm quite surprised at how many near me are run by women now.

I think Paul's fruits are a lot better than that of the feminists (broken homes, materialism and babies passing through the fires of Molech) so I know who I'll be following.

  • @vincent15641

Your video what women want is worship is speaks many truths. Women don't know there place anymore because they r all over the place. I am a woman..a God fearing woman..and my husband is treated like the royalty that he is. He loves God and his family very much he deserves my best everyday.

  • Our men have become weak pansies because women wont sit down and let the men of this nation do their jobs which consist of being the head of their homes, and the churches. As long as their are a bunch of hot headed women we'll never have any real men.

  • @claressa98 Compare your comment with the revelations in the video called "What Women Want is Worship".

  • Sorry. this is ridiculous. Even if you ignore culture and context, and can somehow twist things like "creation order" and situation specific references, we would then have to ask why. Why would God, a being who is totally without a gender, care if a pastor or elder or deacon is XX or XY? (The answer very likely has little to with God, and much to do with a patriarchic society) I have heard sermons from women that I have taken much more from than sermons from men. (the flip side is also true)

  • Why is that you say, "women are raised from second class citizens by raising godly children?"

  • @heyLORDitsme Paul wrote that. I take that as another way of saying that women influence society and the home because it is their hands that rock the cradle...

  • God did not command eve to rule adam. God never commanded a wife or woman to rule a husband or man, and surely He did not command a woman to rule another woman's husband. A pastor is a pastor 24/7 so if a woman claims to be a pastor she would also be pastor at home and over her husband if she has one. Shame. Shame. Blatant ignorance of scripture and disregard of God's order of creation. No mother can ever father a people. We have fatherless churches in AMerican.

  • The bible is not against women only false teachers, study people show yourself approved.

  • Comment removed

  • @UrsalemTemple Do not only read study too, look into history, the culture learn why Paul wrote things. Paul was never against women only false doctrine such as in 1Timothy. Always find out who is speaking, who their speaking to, why their speaking (what circumstances) then you will understand why Paul wrote how he wrote. There are many women leaders in the bible even an apostle Junia Romans 16:7

  • Nowhere in the bible does it say women can or should be preachers. Women should NOT be preachers. Women who claim to be preachers or "prophetesses" are going against what God wills.

  • He assumes that pastor exactly equals church overseer. If pastor is one of the duties of overseers, and one can be gifted as a pastor and take care of others, without being a church overseer, the idea of woman pastors is not inconceivable. An older woman could have a ministry of teaching yougner women.

  • @SaudaraLink your wishful thinking is irrelevant to God.God has already spoken through his apostle Paul. And if Paul is a liar then you will have to reject majority of NT scriptures.Of course you are right in saying women can teach other women and children.

So God bless you to seek his truth.

  • @UrsalemTemple How does that first part of your comment have anything to do with my comment? The requirements are for 'overseers.' Modern Christians use the word 'pastor', but that word isn't used much in the NT. Elders/overseers are 'to pastor' but does that mean all pastors are in a formal position of authority? Are we justified in reading our definition of 'pastor' to mean overseer into scripture, or is that eisegesis?

  • @SaudaraLink you said "Elders/overseers are 'to pastor' but does that mean all pastors are in a formal position of authority?"-scriptures are self explanatory-women are not allowed to teach or have authority over men.

They are to cover their head in public prayer,ministry-worship.

They are to wear modest dressing in public.

Do you really think you can escape reality?

  • @UrsalemTemple I think you should pay a little more attention, not make assumptions and try to understand what people are trying to say before jumping to conclusions.

Your response doesn't relate to the point I made.

  • @SaudaraLink you are just using illogical escapist conclusions to save your face.Infact your lack of intelligence & self deception is not just a source of amusement but also of misfortune as Jesus spoke through the parable of 10 virgins that waited with lamps for their bride groom.

  • @UrsalemTemple You have a very obnoxious demeaner. You have no basis for the conclusions you have drawn about my position on this issue from any of my comments in this thread. You should learn about that 'love thy neighbor' command befor you go around accusing people of being deceived and not intelligent. If you think those things about me, you should not be amused according to I Cor. 13.

  • Yes as a woman I can truly say that God;s way is the safe way. I can also say that for some odd reason, we women have a strange need to control things.

  • In other words, we are given ONE PATTERN of perfection -- and that is Jesus Christ Himself. We see evidence of perfection occurring in the rapture - and all offices cease in the culmination of that outpouring of the Spirit. We see also, perfection in the two witnesses who walk in dominion in the Kingdom -- and, amazingly, have power with Jesus to lay down their lives and take them up again in 3 days. That's Christian perfection in two views. The early church is a record of imperfection.

  • I think the legalistic leaders of the early church thought that women should be under the law -- as they remembered Eve fell in the flesh in sin. You know the leaders of the early church also argued much about circumcision for men. But Paul said that if you let the law in at all -- you've fallen from grace. Now, if you want to bring in the law towards women -- look around. That's the leaven of the Pharisees. All are members of the royal priesthood. And the institution is legallism .

  • Women wanna have full control of anything in everything ALL the time, NO MATTER what, except one thing. And that is as soon as they screw something up, they just slip the situation over to the man! See what he did?

Now they use their looks as a weapon so they can use men. God said in Gen.2:18 It is not good for MAN to be alone, I will make a >>>HELPMATE FOR HIM!!!<<<

Eve was the one DECEIVED not Adam. Gen. 3:13

  • @onlyway2christ1 LOL -- It's almost like I hear you saying, "Bring back the burqa!" God bless you folks. The just shall live by faith. Women are members of the royal priesthood of ALL BELIEVERS. One thing you don't realize, perhaps, is this. The goal is for the body to come to fullmaturity so the offices cease. A woman emerges in the endtimes to lead the church as Deborah -- a female apostle. Revelation 12. That would be me. You're silly. Thank God for the RCA. God bless.

  • @onlyway2christ1 Compare your statements with the video called "What Women Want is Worship".

  • 1Cor. 14:34-35 Women are to be silent in the church. Read it urself.

Eph. 5:22 Women are to submit to their hubby as unto the Lord.

Eph. 5:25 Hubby's are to love their wives as Christ loved the church and gave Himself for it!

Men r 2 luv her enough 2 DIE 4 HER, as she is to SUBMIT to HIM, is 4 HER 2 FOLLOW UNDER HIS LEADERSHIP!!!

NOPE, that's to much for women. And THAT is where the battlefield is!!!

    Jesus Saves

  • It's really simple people if you don't belive a woman is allowed to preach then don't listen, if you don't believe a woman can be a pastor find you a church with a man pastor. Who is to preach anyway is ti the human carton or is it JESUS from the inside. Just food for thought if a woman preaches and JESUS speaks through her and you believe women should not preach who are you really coming against.

  • @mtlindale This is so ridiculous. The Reformation stated that the just shall live by faith -- and stated correctly the royal priesthood of all believers. We all have the same salvation. There's not a male salvation -- and a different female salvation. It's the same salvation -- all joint members of the same royal priesthood. What ppl don't understand is that when the Spirit fell on the Day of Pentecost, there was ZERO institutionalism. It was the Kingdom. This is all legalism - immaturity

  • @graceexplosion True it is ridiculous, I wonder why people don't study anymore? A little study goes a long way, to many people take what Paul said and use it against women when Paul was never against women only false doctrine which was the case in 1Timothy. In 1Cor. 14 Paul actually is rebuking the men for trying to hold back the women, he quotes the men in v.34-35 then he rebukes them in v.36-38.

  • @mtlindale It's right to be against false doctrine. Yet, the flesh by nature is legalistic in self-righteousness which is not by grace through faith in Jesus. Human nature. Like, take for example how when the Spirit fell on the Day of Pentecost, they shared all things common. there was no "list of requirements" and legalism and institutionalism nor bureaucracy about widows getting aid. But, once the church lost that measure of the Spirit, suddenly lists of requirements. Marriage forbidden.

  • @graceexplosion Amen very true.

  • 1 Timothy 2 verses 11-15

11 A woman[a] should learn in quietness and full submission. 12 I do not permit a woman to teach or to assume authority over a man;[b] she must be quiet. 13 For Adam was formed first, then Eve. 14 And Adam was not the one deceived; it was the woman who was deceived and became a sinner.

  • I find it exceedingly disturbing that you are quoting only one or two verses in a row, ignoring the rest of the chapters in which they appear. This is a rather poor way to read the Bible, or any other book for that matter. You cannot read a single sentence without the context! I would have expected a seminary graduate to know MORE than I do about how to read sacred texts, but clearly I am mistaken on this point.

  • This is very false teaching research Ephesus and the temple of Artemis. You might get some revelation on what Paul was teaching. Please study and do not follow blindly any man, this is false doctrine. The letter is to Ephesus only not the church as whole, it was for specific circumstances in that city.

    GRACE & PEACE

  • somebody told me that rachel from the bible attended her fathers sheep and that made her a pastor. I say that made her a sheep herder not a pastor from a church. I would like to hear from you on this.

  • Now what a minute a woman did help in authoring the bible, in Song of Solomon, and in the end of Proverbs, also we do hear about woman teaching a man about Jesus in acts, also it says Act 2:17

'And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God, That I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your young men shall see visions, Your old men shall dream dreams.

  • @JessaMesss Prophesying has the same root as "comforting" (I forgot which text translation that was, pls.correct me if I'm wrong). A woman CAN prophesy as any person whom may God choose. There are many prophets in the Bible that DO NOT BELONG to the Priestly clan--examples are Huldah and Deborah. When a woman prophesies SHE COMFORTS using God's words. This doesn't mean however a pastoral office.

  • @gatsbyfaulkner

what is a pastoral office and were do you find it in the bible, also the word prophesy is translated in many different meaning one being ~ set apart to teach the gospel,) now the "church we see to day was not how it used to be, also the word woman can be translated wife, and the word man can be translated husband so the meaning could be I do not allow a wife to asup authority over a woman

  • @JessaMesss Besides, as women, we should not fret nor be annoyed that we can't take the pulpit to serve God. Except the pulpit, we can serve God by merely sharing His truth... Just like what we are doing now :) We sanctify God's words by sharing it. It's one way of serving Him.

  • @gatsbyfaulkner I agree that not every woman is meant to have an authoritative positon. However, not every man is either. I find it odd that Mary of Magdala was allowed to preach the gospel of Jesus's resurrection, but modern women are somehow not allowed that honor.

  • @Ongarukat You are making logic mistakes in both of your comments. "...Mary of Magdala was allowed to preach... but modern women are somehow not allowed that honor..." and "... making her the first Christian priest."

    1) If someone preaches the gospel - that person does nor become automatically suitable for pastorship. No one is restricting women to preach (not MacArthur at least), but preaching (proclaiming, witnessing) does not mean = head of the flock.

  • @3zuba Witnessing and proclaiming is not the same thing as preaching. MacArthur is in fact saying women CANNOT preach. Where do you think the name preacher comes from? Preacher refers to someone from the protestant faith while preist refers to someone from the Catholic faith. But they are basically the same thing.

Now, having explained this, I'll add that MacArthur is way off and out to lunch, as are most Christians regarding this matter. Jesus made women the same as men. So don't believe Paul.

  • @TrustinJC On the Day of Pentecost, there was purity of the Kingdom and the move of the Spirit. But, as flesh arose, then law arose with human government. The moment that deacons were instituted -- immediately the church lost power. It went from Jesus; grace by faith; the Spirit... to flesh, law, human government (institutionalism). Stephen became the first deacon -- and the first martyr. As the power of the Spirit was lost, the church became subject to persecution. (part 1)

  • @TrustinJC As the church increasingly moved away from the heart of God and the Kingdom in Jesus, more flesh rose, more rules were created, more human govt (institutionalism). This degeneration of spiritual vibrancy continued until the flesh was very powerful, the rules were rigid, the human govt was highly tiered, the Bible was taken away from the ppl. The Dark Ages thus ensued under the RCC. The early church -- and what they state -- is evidence/record of carnality -- not the model.

  • @TrustinJC So, now today, persons lacking revelation of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ, hold up the fallen image as the ideal -- when it is not the ideal. The record left in scripture was for us to evaluate from the view of perfection in Christ. We are to return to the outpouring of the Spirit that ends all offices and raises up the body in the full restoration that will produce transfiguration/rapture. Such am I sent to restore. The endtime female apostle born-again seeing Jesus face to face.

  • Great video...a much needed teaching in these days of profound rebellion against the truth of the Word of God in so very many so-called "churches."

  • This man is a modern day pharisee, reading the Bible with a social microscope from 2000 years ago, concocting details that do not apply to today. Women did not write Bible books because women were not allowed to go to school! Boys sat with rabbis and learned. Women did not. They were uneducated and illiterate. But today we are not. He deducts conclusions from the wrong premise: "Huh... if women did not write books maybe it's because they shouldn't"... Some theologian this man is...

  • This is such a good test for christians if they believe in this and you show them the word and still disagree then you know they are not believers in Gods word and therfore not christians.

  • Im going thru this very thing right now...I know that the bible says this I even showed it to my husband and his mother but they look at me as if im judgeing harshly and that its not from this time...Please pray for me every Sunday he still makes me go!! So being submissive I do I pray that God delivers me soon.....!!

  • @camilotash12 God sees your faithfulness stay encouraged! For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife...1 Peter 3:1 Wives, in the same way be submissive to your husbands so that, if any of them do not believe the word, they may be won over without words by the behavior of their wives,While they behold your chaste conversation [coupled] with fear... I'm not married but i'm in a similar situation your covered by the Blood of Jesus everything will work out God bless!

  • Well, John, I do listen to your radio program every day, and don't always agree with you, but this we can agree on, God Bless. Oh and will someone show this video to Monica Dennington.

  • Finally biblical truth I have always questioned this matter every time i try to bring up the subject everyone just plays hush hush like it doesn't exist. or they use the saying well Apostle paul was only talking about the church in corinth because the women were out of order there ir urks me how we continue to as christians accept anything and everything in order to please everyone instead of keeping hold of sound doctrine and teaching it is clear!!!!

  • Just a warning to everyone about Monica Denningtons anti scriptural view on this issue. I challenged her with some Biblical questions about her views and she blocked me from posting. I think she is avoiding the obvious. That her hermeneutics are flawed. ie a scripture twister.

  • Overwhelmingly the charismatic movement, and the feminists rail against God Clear Word on this instruction

  • Overwhelmingly the charismatic movement, and the feminists rail against Gos Clear Word on this instruction

  • From the voting on thumbs up or down some do not agree with Gods Word the New Testament and pastoral espietles.?

  • Great video and exactly true. As a woman I do not feel that God has relegated me to a status less than equal with men. But he created me different as part of HIS plan for the family. Women should be rejoicing in the gifts God has bestowed upon us instead of complaining.

  • This is clearly answer to those women who take the pulpit against scripture.

  • @Takeupyourcross1 What about Priscilla from Acts 18? She is mentioned BEFORE her husband Aquila 3 out of the 4 times the couple is mentioned. In ancient times, mentioning someone first implied that the first-mentioned was of greater importance. It is generally believed that both Priscilla AND Aquila were preachers of the early church.

Also, Mary of Magdala is the first person to preach the gospel of Jesus's resurrection in all 3 synoptic gospels, making her the first Christian priest.

  • @Ongarukat

    2) False reasoning: Mary of M. announced Christ's resurrection - therefore she is a Christian priest. or "I can preach, that makes me a Christian Priest". Only sons of Aaron could be priests, although other tribes of Israel saw God's glory and "could preach". They were still chosen and redeemed, but not chosen as a priestly people - only Levites could do that job.

Needless to say about feminization of church in America today...
