  • @jacobg1777 DWL!!!!!

  • @ cherrypicker2001 way to be man a sorta scary way to try and set beads but also one of the most fun when it has to be attempted keep on farming man.

  • Love that old tech.

  • lol, nicely done sir. hey all us Americans could take a lesson from these hombres, no reason to criticize. I know plenty of farmers on the Palouse that do this on a daily basis. Good show ole boy, good show!

  • now thats how you use ether....

  • i am a farmer, its probably the most dangerous line of work there is. i use this technique all of the time we have more to worry about than being safe.

  • Tire*

  • @Redrobottyler Tyre*. Two ways of English my friend.

  • Lol, I work as a tyre fitter. Done this like twice good way if nothing else works.

  • Dont do this.. see it done.. people can get hurt.. its same as a bomb..

  • radio : haha lets do it! , and the guy fixed the tire lol

  • Cleatus(from the Simpsons): "I wash my self with a RAG-ON-A-STICK!"

Farmer Brown: "I light my tire with a FIRE-ON-A-STICK!"

    NICE!!

  • FIRE!!!!

  • Mr 2177 clearly is unaware that the man in the video is a god and dosent have to worry about such triviality.

  • Mr 2177 clearly is unaware that the man in the video is a god and dosent have to worry about such triviality.

  • I came here to see a easy way to lock the bead... but I notice all the "you should have done" comments spamming here.... this guy has already done this and is still here today.. so shut the fuck up because your if's, ands, or buts isnt going to change what has already happened.. so leave this guy to do as he pleases and go troll another video about safety issues that you dont care about.... good video cherrypicker2001... its fun to see stuff like this :)

  • @mr2177 the FUCKING bead seater didnt work !!!!!! a 5 tonne ratchet strap, didnt work !!!!! 1/2 a tub of proper bead sealing wax ?? didnt work !!!!! cos of the fact that the rim was so rusty due to being ballasted with plain water,( no corrosion inhibitor) for the last ten years. the bead seat was however clean, but the tyre needed to jump the rust to seat. the tyre. the tyre cant burn on the inside because all the oxygen is used up in the explosion. so dont knock it when you dont know the facts

  • @cherrypicker2001 Holy shit, do you own an air compressor that has some type of oxygen filter? What do you think you're pumping in the tire right after you ignite the ether? Now that you've explained why you did this, the fire inside the tire is the least of your worries, you LEFT THE RUST ON THE WHEEL?!?!! It was rusty to the point that the bead wouldn't jump over the rust? Guess what happens if the bead gets hung up in the area where the bead splice is?

  • @mr2177 I'll give you a hint: you won't be around to post a reply if that happens *kaboom* Instead of half assing the job, either buy a new fucking wheel, or grind the fucking rust down so that the bead doesn't have trouble sliding into the bead seat. ...and i'm sorry about using bad language, I know it doesn't help get my point across... seriously leaving the rust on the wheel is what causes the bead to hang up on farm tires, and if it hangs up on the wrong spot, the tire will explode violently

  • @cherrypicker2001 So get a new rim Einstein.

  • @cherrypicker2001 thats a myth, I'm not saying people don't do it all the time, but the tire can very easily catch fire on the inside, and on a tire this big you won't know till it blows the bead 8 hours later when you are standing next to it. The fact that you chose to reuse a rusty rim without taking the time to properly clean the bead surface doesn't mean you did it the right way. Realistically 2 or 3 bead seaters will easily work on larger tires.

  • @cherrypicker2001 your supposed to use anti freeze mixed in the water to prevent that rust :-p

  • @cherrypicker2001 Relax. There was a time where being creative and resourceful was celebrated on this planet. These days, all people will do is bitch and complain. If you do this, you should've used a tool, if you use a tool, you used the wrong tool, if you use the right tool, you're using it wrong. Fact is, awesome video dude.

  • @mr2177 tire cannot burn inside for a while, cause it will burn up all the air and create a vacuum.

  • @mr2177 You're a moron.

  • @mr2177 It can't burn inside, no oxygen, completely sealed environment

  • This guy don't know jack squat when it comes to agri-tires. He's gonna hurt himself or someone else one day.

  • He is standing in the worst possible place. If you use this method on ANY tire, stand to the side where the tread is facing you. If the tire blows off the wheel, it's blows off the way it is mounted. 15 years in tire shop and have seen people almost killed by even the safest tire inflating practices. Zipper failures at 110psi are the worst.

  • 10,000 more men like this and we'd still have an Empire

  • What do you mean? We've got a cinema in our town.

  • But we do still have an Empire, its in Hemel Hempstead and has 8 screens.

  • Now you could build a tyre blaster using a 10 liter tank with a 8 cm. pipe thread and an attached nozzle. Air the tank to 3 bar w/ a compressor then walk over and hit the dump valve and the blast of air will set the tyre. But that's work! Where will you get the kit? And to store it? A can of ether and a rag and you're sorted!

  • we do have a bead cheater. which is a properly manufactured and tested device as you describe. it would not budge this bead with 200psi in it.and 2 compressors feeding the tyre

  • @cherrypicker2001 the small 5 or 6 gallon one i'm assuming, you need the big one. but the combination of a ratcheting strap around the tire, tire mounting soap and the small bead seater will do it. I seat the bead on tires that were on the bottom of the stack using this method. Sure its messy but it's safe

  • @whtraff67 Us farmers don't give a flying fuck about ''Health and Safety'' Legislation''. Why should I or this bloke have to pay for someone to mount the tyre on the rims when he can use lighter fuel spray and a dirty old rag?

  • @whtraff67 should have phoned hgm for advice lol

  • @whtraff67 if he hasnt employed some one its fine and why would it matter it at his own place so you can do what ever you want

  • @whtraff67 you're a tosser
