64有少數受傷的或死亡的，都屬於極端派和另類，都是在和平鎮壓的情況下主動跟軍人硬碰硬造成的，因為那些極端的學生不是空手，他們也是拿凶器撲向軍人的，有的是向軍人澆汽油、以及用砍刀砍向士兵的頭，在這種情況下發生衝突的流血事件就很難免的，有些大學生根本就是假大學生，是暴徒換衣後偽裝成大學生的，當然這些學生傷亡事件只是少數情況，根本不是64的主流現象。
64期間，大陸士兵被學生圍攻導致死亡的遠比受傷的那幾個學生還要多得多，但卻不見那些民運報導。

为什么会死那么多人？ 有不少原因
第一个原因是共产主义并非因劳分配所以很多人投机取巧， 恩 就是说你这样的生物。。 最后不但自己饿死了还拖累了别人

i think we should celebrate 6/4 instead of dwelling on it ! It is due to the acts of these students that resulted in faster change in China! You and I both know that China has made many improvements in the past 20 yrs! I rather have a Chinese Gov't that is adapting and WILLING to change then a gov't that stands still on its ideology!

Did i say that i was in denial? these students sacrifice their lives for a reason! It was to push for change and they did accomplished it! Many Chinese ppl in CHina are experiencing a better life and more freedom beause of 6/4!
All throughout human history, immediate political change is doom to be disasterous! The student at 6/4 were pushing for immediate change! Though they didnt get instant results but they have awaken The Chinese gov't to make "faster" change!

A successful revolution makes changes immediately. Im glad you agree there were deaths, their deaths however did not yield ANY instant outcome. that, my friend, is a revolution failure.
and hell, you wanna talk about fast change? lets talk about the change of nationalism into communism during the 1940s? China is not changing, China is changing BACK. communism is supposed to be an ideal -ism, but it cause so many problems in reality.

what you said about the N and S army aren't very relevent either. as far as i can tell, you were implying that the government had to deal with the students before the S army came up, correct? that only tells me that the government had to deal with the students. period. as for how the government should do it? well...probably not like that?

do u know WHAT THE FIRST thing Deng X.P did after 6/4?? It was his Famous visit to the South! "The Southern Visit" the reason was to calm the S army General! And to slowly put him out of power! 6/4 wouldnt have happen if the S army General didnt threat to MARCH up to Beijing!! Why should China follow western gov't systems? The last time CHina adopted a western system was communist from Russia! That didnt do us much good until China's gov't started to adapt new aspects to the system! Like free enterpricing and Capitalizing! China will find it path! But democracy, it is only for western countries!

China doesn't even need western government systems ie capitalism. We had our own Confucious beliefs, and Mozi's etc. in the history of China, there had been nothing close to communism, and yet beliefs from the old "school of thoughts" all promote the idea of property, all they differed in were ways to deal with life and government etc.
democracy is only for western countries <- when i saw that, i died a little inside.
