You can see his jacket and shirt come up as he's spinning. If he didn't have a helmet on, the jacket and shirt would have come off completely. You can also see one of his shoes come flying off as he goes airborne.

he probably broke his back on the windshield though, thats what sent him flying originally. i don't think the pavement landing would have been much after the broken back. probably would have made him forget about his back hurting so much
