It all depends on your definition of capitalism. If you use marxs definition then fine you are right, but by using his definition you make some labled possitions sound like a contradiction in words such as anarcho-capitalism. Big busisness and big government together already has multiple terms. Cronyism, Fascism, Corpratism, State-Capitalism, Mixed Markets, Planned Markets, Protectionism, and in some respects Mercantilism.
Capitalism means "the private ownership over the means of production." I find it terribly ironic that socialists deny property while using property (their video equipment, and personal youtube account...etc).
If you don't believe that people can rightfully own property than why don't you give me your login information for this youtube account? Come on, don't be such a capitalist, share this account with me.
@lukebessey Three different definitions of "capitalism" are presented in the first two minutes of the video, and then set against both each other and a moral framework. Did you even listen, or just spooge out a few sentences here to keep you comfortably nestled in your ignorance?
@syadasti He defines capitalism as corporatism, or fascism (see capitalism 2 and 3). That is why I redefined it using its actual meaning. You can't just go around redefining things and get away with it. The second part of my comment (about socialists) was assuming this guy is a socialist. Correct me if I am wrong, because I did not finish all the parts of this talk. I could tell after about 5 minutes that he was a looney toon, or at least living a life contradictory to his espoused beliefs.
@syadasti Regardless, I support anyone who is opposed to the state. It looks like you are one such person. Is that you on your home page? I have the same shirt :) Cheers mate!
@lukebessey its not that we dont believe in property, its that we dont believe in property that is used to exploit others (rent, capitalist property, etc).
@megaminxmaster Right, but the word exploit is where the confusion comes in. I choose to rent a home because it is more preferable to me to rent than to own. I am 26 and I do not want to keep up an investment like a house. I like the fact that I can move across the country in a few months if I want to. My landlord is not exploiting me. When it comes to voluntary interactions that are not made under duress, exploitation is not happening. The state is the ultimate engine for exploitation.
Renting is an exploitation. Honestly, the underlying issues are the problem. By talking about renting because it is preferable to ownership, you are essentially saying you are willing to be a slave to someone else.
Renting is not an exploitation if it is a mutually agreeable and beneficial trade.

Why don't you define capitalism as it is defined in the DICTIONARY: A system by which money (capital) is raised to fund new productive ventures?
