It really bothers me that videos like this are available to the public. Disposition videos should not be on youtube. We all deserve privacy and this just just isn't right.

they object to the "form" of the question to preserve the record when a question is vague, poorly worded, or asks the witness to make a jump to a legal conclusion. the witness has to answer a deposition question unless he's asked to violate the attorney client privilege. then the lawyer instructs him not to answer.
as soon as the questioning lawyer said the word "reckless", the lawyer should have objected to the form. he missed his chance and waited til the next question. sloppy. the questioni

Why would somebody "object to the form" whilst allowing their client to answer the question?

@Omikron404 A lawyer might object to the form whilst allowing their client to answer the question in order for the objection to be preserved on the record. Most objections do not preclude a deponent from answering the question and most of the time the deposing lawyer may simply ignore the objections and instruct the deponent to answer. The deponent's attorney will instruct the client not to answer if the deposing attorney is doing something egregious like asking harassing questions.
