He's not making any money if LA changes it's lunch program, or if people start eating healthier. Also most of his book sales are in the UK. Again, rather than being in the UK promoting them, he's here working in schools. He's not here for the short term financial benefits, which are practically non-existent.

@TheDarkK18 Change doesn't happen overnight, that series helped educate thousands of people not in your immediate area. The change is gradual but it can happen if people are educated about the problem and have access to the basic tools that enable change. I would be interested in seeing the long term impact of the show on school lunches in the district, if they changed back to serving garbage.
The danger in what Jamie is doing is that if he's not careful, he's just leading Americans from one corporate dictatorship to another, which is what always happens. Fascism takes over, people wise up, so the politicians and the special interest groups fundamentally transform the system to a new kind of fascism. People got complacent and thought they were taken care of, and now the government is trying to do it again. Blame the corporations, but trust us, the people who enable the corporations.
