hey can some1 please elaborate on all the diff types of bagpipes....(i.e. highland, small, shuttle and uillea pipes).....that be really awsome of everybody!!!
@LiftedElephant - Highland or Great Highland Bagpipes are the usual ones you will see, pipe bands use these. Small pipes come in many forms, many are blown with bellows. Shuttle pipes are like these in this video. And Uillean pipes are Irish bellow blown smallpipes that create a unique sound, I know all use the same fingering apart from the Uillean pipes i'm not sure about...
It is not often I come across a new tune that just make the hairs on my neck stand up. This one does just that!!!!! That is flippin' amazing - well done!!!
I'm waiting on a set of Fred Morrison reelpipes - any chance of the sheet music for your tune and I'll christen them with it :D
hey great tune thanks for sharing your talent, would you have any sheet music that you could send me, would love to learn this tune. God Bless and Cheers!
What's up, bro? Sorry I haven't responded...unexpected things have kept me busy since I got back home. CONGRATS on the BIG win at Stone Mountain last month!!! That kicks ass! Hope you have a great T-Day...I PROMISE I'll ring you up in the next few days! Kick ass tune, too, by the way!
Greetings!! I just had my first solo comp last week: Senior Novice--I played High Road. Some day, I hope to play your stuff. Again, nice birls!! Have you given a copy of the tune to Bruce or Adrian?
Cheers man! If I can settle down a bit from all this solo comp obsession then I would do that and put up some new vidies. Got some more new tunes to share. Maybe soon! Cheers!
love the tune , great playing . Im thinking of getting a set of shuttle pipes . Why do you like them and do you prefur them to scots smallpipes or not .
Cheers man! Thanks! I don't have that much experience with bellows-blown pipes, but I am VERY happy with the shuttles. I did change out my bag from Canmore to leather, but the instrument itself is awesome. You would enjoy them.
