I play both roller and ice. The average ice hockey player has a lot more talent than the average roller hockey player however, roller hockey is still really fun. Its great for the off season.

The only thing that makes me mad about playing inline is any time i take the body on someone i get a damn penalty. thats why everyone bashes on inline. i don't understand why we cant put on full equipment and play full contact. ice is much more intense. either way i like the video, especially QuietDrive in the background.

Actually, There are pro roller hockey leagues. PIHA. Know your info before you say anything. Secondly, It has nothing to do with ability to play one or the other, its all about convenience. Its easier to get time playing roller then it is to get ice rink time. Plus there are not that many ice rinks within traveling distance of some people, but roller can be played at a roller rink, an outdoor rink, a parking lot, just about anywhere. Its also cost much less to play.
