  • Love these amps! I have a 2300AM. That plug sucks. I hard wired mine.

  • My 2nd fav amps, besides Zapco Studios in white !

  • Love ppi that's all I run in my car ppi all the way

  • Its unreal that these use to be in car and hit.

  • PPI Art have got to be the best SQ amps ever made! Period!!

  • love those amps , i wanted to buy a 1200.2 the other day but didnt have the cash for it and i think they sold it now :(

  • @mazda2284 Yeah, that 1200.2 was a beast! You'll find another, don't sweat it.

  • beautiful amps. I'm waiting to find the black ones with the red logo...the very early PPI amps.

  • @svtcontour The series I show in the video above, were also available in black w/ red logo. For some reason, those are more difficult to come by than the Art series from what I've seen.

  • Awesome vid! Old school indeed:) Brought back memories of the early 90's

  • @abusiveben Thanks for the comment. I enjoy this old school gear and I'm glad you guys like it too! I have much more to share and will do in the upcoming future...

  • Hate those connectors too. If they weren't worth so much as the factory made them, I'd convert them all to either a terminal strip or direct wire.

  • @normalicy So true. I searched for months trying to find the "molex" replacement, found the same design, but the size was different..bummer! The guy selling them on eBay must dip them in gold, but I guess it is all supply vs. demand, so if you want the plug, you must pay. Otherwise solder to the board...

  • Reminds me of my Autotek 44s

  • @BoredAtLakeView I had an Autotek 66, but it went into protect mode and I just sold it for parts or repair. Those were nice, powerful amps as well! A good friend in high school had an Autotek 7100BTS and that little amp was a beast also (Zed built, like the 66). It pushed two 15's pretty good back then!

  • Nice a friend at school uncle drove the PPI van! His uncle brang it to high school once.

  • @NMdesertracer I bet your friend was a God for a day!! Wow, and I thought I was cool when my friend's mom took us to school in her red Corvette!!

  • great stuff as always!!!!! big matt

  • Nice Old School Amps!

  • @AdamTheAudioMan Thank you sir! Sorry the video is so lame and boring...I just wanted to get another one up fast. I'll do one soon using the good camera, mic and add the background music. I don't think this video had even finished processing before you watched it...thanks for the support!
