  • i really loved this song

  • tabs please

  • @igorotvirgo79 Siprahin mo na lang. Madali naman yung tugtog e. I even doubt it if you can find the transcription online or anywhere for that matter.

  • I just remember my yesterday when i was young playing around the dancing hall....

  • Wow! It's really the original recording of the Coronets band. It's better than other versions by Cesar Manalili and other artist. I love it's bass. How I wish it had a good treble too.

The only bad thing here is the picture of Cesar Manalili And D' Coronets album that is shown on the video. That album, under Aquarius Records, does not contain this track, perhaps only on mislabeled pirated CDs from Divisoria and Quiapo, hahaha!

  • @MrSkyColours Thanks for noticing the video itself came from various Cesar Manalili cds on Aquarius that has almost NO connection to the recording apart from the title of the song. When I posted this, I just bought the lp from a collector and from the source itself, the recorded sound is really bad like it was transmitting from an AM station with bass. While most of the tunes are recorded properly and has a better sound. And since I was elated upon the purchase, I reckoned it would be a good...

  • Idea to post it on youtube. I don't own a digital camera that time and I am not very familiar how to use the software to make this video, I just simply copied and pasted anything remotely related to the tune. Sorry if the photos mislead you somewhat.

  • sooooo buuuutiiiiiifuuuulllllll

  • Wow this is even more beautiful

  • @aprilspring770 More beautiful because it IS the original.

  • @bpabustan Yeah right. More lovely. It's the best sound. Too bad I dont have the orig. Thanks

  • @aprilspring770

Check out BMG Records. They re-released this piece under the album "Coronets."

If I'm not mistaken, it was during the late 90's or early 2000's.

I have a cassette copy of it. Too bad I don't have the CD. hahaha!

  • @MrSkyColours Thanks fortelling me. Im checking it.

  • My wife loves this tune, so soothing

  • wooohh .... it soothes!

  • naalala ko tuloy when iwas 18 years old dumadayo kami ng sayawan sa kabilang barrio

  • talaga naman..circa 70 pumada pa noon eh emilia kasabay ang tugtog na ito

  • @palosarutnevjr baka naman le conte o vervena

  • i think most of us prefer the first version, i have this version so as the 1995 cd version as well as latest .

  • ty for posting this video, i think it's not carver amp being use here,to my knowledge carver amp by bob carver is founded during the 80's and this album recorded circa 1964 so it could have been tube amp being use and maybe macintosh amp also monitor with altec 604 speakers.

  • @MrYoSo204 I wasn't aware that Bob Carver started his career in the mid-70s. I also realized that Aunt Irma and Petrified Anthem recorded some tracks there.

  • @MrYoSo204 According to the album's liner notes at the back, it is said that it was recorded on Carver Studios so that made me guess that it was a nonexistent studio until Jim Sarthou of Aunt Irma confirmed its existence.

  • SO BEAUTIFUL MUSIC TO HEAR!! love it so much! so relaxing!!

  • Thanks for posting this instrumental...it brings back the younger days of my parents...they love it !

  • I dedicate this beautiful instrumental to Blady from Cagayan Valley~This is for you, BRM! From: E.C.C.O.

    Say mo?????

  • best instrumental song....forever..

  • pls upload happy bday ty

  • this is nice but danny holmsen's version has better quality.

  • bpabustan defenitely the original recording was the best even Cesar Manalili the same person who played the original Faithful Love can't copy as it was way back 1964 the dirfference of now & before technologies, this is the favorites of those cabaret habitues during the 60's

  • Yow, exactly as played by Cesar and the boys when I was 16 years old. Thanks for the rare opportunty. I love the sound

  • The music of The coronets 2 LP album still available at The Yeateryears Music at UP Village look for Nestor Vera Cruz or Mr. Tommy Yap. If you looking for rare & rarities songs you can find there

  • i was a very beautiful teen age girl when this music was a hit. I've been trying to get access of this music on you tube but was never successful until 2 days ago I was really surprised when I actually heard it. Whoever posted this on you tube, you are an angel. You really made my day. My endless thanks to you. As I listen to this beautiful music I can't help but smile cause it brings back some good old memories. Exceptionally beautiful music.

  • @ladyluck853 hmmm i would love to see some scans of you when you were a very beautiful girl...im sure nothing really changed

  • @bak2mb I'm so sorry but I'm not that computer savvy. A friend of mine was the one who helped me post a comment on you tube otherwise I wouldn't the whole family for a visit. I will definitely get a CD of this music. I love the "Faithful Love and I miss You" the most.

  • @bak2mb Sorry, i know that my response is a bit too late. I was in the country this past May-June '11 and we could've met while I was still there. But don't you worry, I'll be coming back home again next summer. Around April-May time frame. We can arrange a meeting if you are interested. Meanwhile, if you want to send me an e-mail, here's my address: lee.burgos@yahoo.com.

  • i love this music very much. it's my favorite since i was achilg, thanks for posting it. i do have the 45's of this music given to me by my friends from DZWX radio station in Baguio City.

  • Thanks for posting this. I downloaded it so I can have a copy of this rare sound.

There is no doubt that this is the original. Naalala ko kasi madalas patugtugin ito sa kabaret namin nung bandang late '70s. I've seen the 45" vinyl record, kulay pula pa yata. Anyway, the re-issue by Manalili is much faster & at a lower key. This one is slower but at a higher key. I prefer this one, the original. Mas mabagsik ang overdub ng gitara nito. Thanks for posting. Check-out my own version.

  • @Marist83USA If my hunches are right, they released this on their own label - Coronet Records. And you are right, it is red with white borders. While I was analyzing the info on the back of the album, I noticed it was recorded at "Carver Studios". I couldn't help but wonder where in the Philippines is this studio. My guess is that it is a home recording wherein their power amps are Carver.

  • @Marist83USA yea right. pati sa mga sayawan during christmas and fiestas. dance for ang laging sinasabi ng emcee.

  • What a music... simul ng magkaisip ako...naririnig ko an ito sa mga kasalan sa bicol. wal pa ring kupas

  • beautiful,,i remember when i was a teenager,,haha.

  • please response anybody if you know the answer to this question. danny holmsen is given credit for composing this beautiful tune 'faithful love'. is he filipino? there is no bio at all in google about who he is except a small article written in 2003 in philippine newspaper about him being dead. the article mentioned he was a director as well, directed guy and pip movie, etc. i think he needs a spot written about him on wikipedia. thnx!

  • Danny is a one of the few great musicians. I heard of Danny Holmsen 2 decades ago from my sister in law when she was working at Sta.Cruz church and Danny was one of their sponsors. Danny is a mestizo. Am not just particular. I'll let you know some more.

  • where you from, Miss Sunshine?

  • Ito palagi ang unang pinapatogtog pag nandon ako sa amin tuwing Fiessta Live Combo, paulit ulit ang sarap pakinggan. The Night of the Balikbayan* ha ha ha

  • Where can I get a copy of this piece, it's so romantic.

  • @TheSaturn09 Unfortunately, this particular recording has not been reissued at all. I have never seen a release of this on cassette moreso on cd. This was taken from my vinyl collection. And since this has not been issued so far. I believe this is in the public domain unless someone buys the rights for this. The Cesar Manalili cds you see on record bars are re-recordings of the Coronets hits then so they are not what you are hearing here.

  • abeldgnld,,,,that was tune title 'momories of our dream'
