  • how many people dont realize this is 90% comedy

  • i love everyone on a bike but when im riding my fg around town i always yell HI ROADIE AT THE TOP OF MY LUNGS , you guys are always hilarious out there in your super hero outfits playin like your lance junior, roadies are the elitists out there, to bad we got highschool kids in la that have ridin fixed for 1 year and control there bikes in ways you roadies couldnt dream of after 20 30 years on a bike, the level of control you have on a fixed is un paralleled, coast your hoes ass round da corner

  • @thisgame2 I'm sorry my friend, but you are the one that sounds like the "elitist".

  • @SpicyDonk thanks

  • @thisgame2 skids etc are not control, they are lack of control. Not all "roadies" ride with gears as well, so try and pull your head out of your arse. These lot in the video are spinning like crazy as they obviously cannot push the bigger gear ;) in a place which is so flat as well - wtf, grow some legs.

  • @drsq maybe the way you skid. keep praying for leg power, i can effectively control my bike better than you . can you keo or ride backwards bee otch, and im fgfs wit 700c so i am a rider also ot just a 26 fixed bmx. when im not mashing im looking like some figure skatin ass ninja, you wish you were as gracefull, bitches love fixies while roadies love to bitch. it really is hard riding with these huge balls of mine, maybe one day you will know some one as cool as me, but you better start searchin

  • @thisgame2 did you mean "figure skating gay looking homo ninja"

  • @drsquirrel0 only the realest ninjas can respect beauty with out fearing it as homo, its called being secure, dont be jealous because you can only peddle forward without deviation, kinda like a old lady in a wheel chair. im the smartest here and yet still dumb enough to leave these calmentz,, derp e derp im a youtube idiot

  • at 3.30, the difference in power... :-)

  • fixies suck

  • Assholes like these guys are a huge part of why cyclists are so hated. They don't care if they hurt the sport, or harden people's attitudes toward all of us on two wheels.

  • lance Armstrong is riding with some macaframa memebers , rainier schaefer , jason yim , emi brown rest of guys cant tell who they are

  • look at lance at the end lol everyone is running at 10psi of boost , lance says enough is enough turns it up just a tad lol i love biking

  • sweet ride video. who's that slow guy in the white? ;)

  • wheres lance armstrong?

  • @C2xEditor he was in the white t shirt

  • that is not Lance armstrong

  • i love the old riviera that goes by at 1:40

  • Why on earth would anyone want a fixie?

  • @bluemystic7502 try it.

  • @nilo2209

That's not a very persuasive statement.

  • @bluemystic7502 ok here ya go: Fixie = Most efficient power transmission. Unique control of speed & balance. No variable gears failing, freezing up or collecting dirt. Properly tensioned chain won't fall off the sprockets no matter how wild you ride. Flipflop hubs. Backwards momentum. Continuous traction feedback. Simplicity. The simple mechanics require less maintenance and last longer than complicated mechanics (gears). Very easy to deal with.

  • @nilo2209

What advantages, if any, does a fixie have over the traditional multi-gear bike? Or is it just different?

  • @bluemystic7502 the fixed gear mechanics are less prone to fail because it's so simple. If you search "derailleur fail" on Google Images you will find many pics of failed multispeed mechanics. This happened to me twice with quality parts. When you ride 100 km every day, it will happen sooner or later in my experience. If you take the gears away it can't happen. A fixie goes on forever in all kinds of weather and it's a bliss to clean the drivetrain, unlike multispeed.

  • @bluemystic7502 also: riding fixed is so much more fun because you feel the force of the rotating wheel in your legs all the time. Especially with clipless pedals you become part of the bike and it feels like you are spinning the planet underneath you. Dunno how to explain it, that's why I always tell skeptics to try it out. It really is great fun when you get good at it.

  • @nilo2209 weird that's the exact same reason why i DON'T like fixed gears. i don't know, i'm not a fan. but if it works for you, nothing wrong with that.

  • @nilo2209 that's why you tune and clean your bike and make sure everything works correctly.

  • @brandeezy108 yeah I know but when you are a bike messenger you must spend a lot of extra time on this and you don't get paid for it. A fixie you just have to keep the chain oiled and you clean the two sprockets once a month. Also when temperature goes below zero and you ride for 8 hours in the snow, gear and brake cables will freeze up and make your day even worse. A fixie always has a brake that works and no gears that can freeze.

  • But can they keep it up for 50+ miles? Nope? Posers. ;-)

  • Whats the name of the rim at :38 ???????

  • @graffbeast408 looks like a 650c B43 rim with mash stickers on it

  • @growitEZ

    Exactamundo amigo !!!

  • These guys look totally responsible.

  • I like the part at 2:33 when Armstrong was hangin with the coppers.

  • seems like they could occasionally benefit from another gear.... or a brake...

  • is that really armstrong ??

  • @lhequatro yup :)

  • Ok i'm kinda new to this fixie stuff...so what happens when they are going 40mph+ down a hill and they have no brakes?

  • @KeelanMcDorman yeah the point in having no brakes eludes me also.

  • @KeelanMcDorman its called skidding

  • keep Austin weird

  • 4:16

    I love Emi <3

  • muy bueno,y como de costumbre la policia siempre molesta :P... por siempre riders :D

  • 1:53 .. O FUK ! lol.

  • 1:55 and 2:05 like a boss haha

  • Geez! Look how fast they're moving their legs..!

  • Comment removed

  • gotta love the MASHsf crew

  • YES!!! Lance does skid during credits!

  • Fixies are not suppose to have breaks and belong on the track ridden by real men in the intense Keirin race.

  • @wwtdd1

    thank you! haha

  • what's cool is that Lance just rode around the city with these guys for fun. Who knows it they were already friends, but it puts him in a different chill spotlight and shows he can hang out w/anyone who loves to ride.

  • Is it just me, or do these guys seem extremely irresponsible?

  • @RBikeEnthusiast1 ...and stupid. They will never be able to honestly complaint about car drivers not sharing the road because in this video you can count the laws they break during their joy ride. You must abide to the law when using public roads.

  • @RBikeEnthusiast1 No, it's not just you. They're tools on bikes. I heard a story of a fixie rider that tried to beat an ambulance through an intersection while both were turning. Guess who lost? Less than a block from the hospital and the fixie rider was DOA.

  • @RBikeEnthusiast1 It's people like this who give normal cyclists a bad name. We're already disliked by drivers as is, why make the cycling community look even worse by violating laws left and right? It boggles me.

  • Wow, crazy fun had by all!

  • fixie lifestyler nerds. get some real bikes

  • @bobbitt187 i bet cant even ride any of them ur real bike mean a hipster mountian bike ha?

  • @EARTHza323 road racing bikes since i was a teenager. now i am 32.. i own 3 bikes i ride regularly none being a mountain bike although cadel evans was an ex mountain bike world champ so your mocking tones loose any value. now you re gonna ask me who cadel evans is right. well, he dos nt ride a fixie round texas!

  • was the emi brown with the mini keg???? Ahahahahahah

  • Those guys have balls of steel, I tell ya.

  • @EternalSickness Well Yeah, but Lance only has one ;P

  • Oh. My. Fuck.

  • @EternalSickness Then the pro peloton riders have balls of titanium since they descend at over 100 kph in some parts, and sometimes with sheer cliffs at either side and no barrier.

  • @AutodromoF1 nope. balls of steel too, becuase they have brakes and don't have to worry about traffic

  • @EternalSickness

    But Lance doesn't

  • @EternalSickness haha well lance.....im not so sure any more XD jk lance your awesome

  • Love the way Lance rides the eff out at the end...

  • Faark. He can still ride alright! Nice to see.

  • dipin!
