Why is the gay suicide rate always highest amongst teens might we ask? One answer, teenagers are still in adolescents - the time of life where everything is in development, trying to figure life out etc. So committing suicide seems like the only plausible explanation because they get so stressed and humiliated by their "wrong" choices.

When i was 13 i got bullied cos some people at my school assumed i was gay. I'm not i am bisexual but it was horrible getting called a dirty dyke & i would never call anyone for the sexuality either. Some church children in my neighborhood started calling me non-believer, pushed me to the ground, and some threw rocks at me. I was always scared in grade schools. When i was 13 i got bullied cos some people at my school assumed i was gay. I'm not i am bisexual but it was horrible getting called a dirty dyke & i would never call anyone for the sexuality either. That's why i am surprised that the LGBT community which is supposed to support us don't & think it is a choice or we should choose 1 or the other! Homophobic bullying is wrong but so is Biphobia too. I was bullied by a priest when I was ten years old. He told me that I don't fit in the Bible. I have no idea what the hell he was talking about. But I noticed his eyes were gazing at my brown skin. He doesn't like me asking him to show me God. He yelled at me so much that I yelled back at him. I told him, he is the meanest person ever in front of my Sunday school classmates. I yelled at him, I hate you. I will never come back to church again.

Some church children in my neighborhood started calling me non-believer, pushed me to the ground, and some threw rocks at me. I was always scared in grade schools. Plus, I am the first generation of Cambodian American . I didn't know what to do being new to the country, so I just keep quiet for 20 years. I'm still scared until today, especially when I see a church.

@ebonics4everyone I'm a first generation Cambodian American. At that time, I have only been in America for 5 years. I don't even know what discrimination, racism, or faggot mean. I'm not calling that priest nothing, but just revealing my experience in the new world after the refugee camps. If that is how you read it, then it is on you pal. And no I have never been sexually molested by that priest either. I haven't been to a church in 15 years.

People bashing gays for Christian reasons should be the last to because it's for the wrong reasons. First of all, it's debated whether or not homosexuality is a sin or not- do a Google search and you will find plenty of debates. Second, even if it is, homosexuality is just another sin- you don't find people restricting marriage rights on people who steal, are jealous, cheat on their spouses, etc. Gays might be sinners, but according Christianity, we all are.
