Thank you for this. Here in my area of the US, it is unusual to see poppies worn. It was only while living in the UK that I learned of the tradition of poppies for remembrance. Since I can't find poppies to wear, I will be making my own this year.

@orionova89 I can send you a poppy if you would like one from the UK, they now produce poppy pins which can be worn on a ball cap or as I had done on my sweater.
