Jackie can live a life the way he wants to.Nobody should tel him what he can do and what he can't.The parents made the right choice of letting him you never know every parent should ask their boys if they are like Jack/Jackie.Jackie did the right thing telling her parents now she can be the girl she was mean't to be

the younger the change happens the better the hormone treatment and ops work! so she's not too young! it's harder to reverse an 18 year old than an 10/11 year old

If I had my own kids in the near future if one of them feels like a girl trapped in a boy's body and I'd support that and help pay for the transformation including SRS if she has no money

It's hard for the grandparents; they grew up in a different time, where tg people really weren't widely known. Unfortunately, for Jackie, this is the only way to go. If she went through puberty as a boy, it would be no turning back. So this is the only option. Good luck, Jackie, wherever you are.

@loveunderlaw Unfortunately it's a sociocultural matter in this instance. You have to remember that these men come from very different world with very repressed views on sexuality, and what it is to be "proper". Doesn't make it right, just makes them a step out from the rest of progressive society.
