Very good! I was never able to use the "traditional grip" but always wished I could. It seems some of the best playing is done with that grip. (My left wrist seems too stiff and holding the stick that way just feels awkward---but it seems to work for other people). I've also long observed and wondered about how the snare drum is often tipped away from the drummer. Anyway, you're playing sounds very good!
Bri! So those years in drum corps really did pay off! Man, it really shows and 21 years didn't drain out your head. Eggcellent!!!
Next assignment: "The Black Page"! Well, c'mon! Let me be more reasonable than that: the Ralph Humphries fill from Roxy & Elsewhere's "Be-Bop Tango (Of The Old Jazzmen's Church)"? At least it's quick!
DW? SONOR ¡! or nothing!!!!! Blasphemy! DW indeed! More will come as I am quite rusty after 21 years of not playing drums and guitar instead. Now I have created the guitar monster in Connor so now I return to the Battery.
Nice work. Need more rhythm during solo like Flamemaster
use to play. Right hand part of the peradittle pyramid all
over the cymbals while double stroke solo of the snare and toms with the left. Mashing out 1/8 note with the left foot, while laying down all the internal soul you was born with, right foot love making of the DW 5000.
