I was AT this concert. He was WASTED for the entire show. He wasn't just laying down for a song, he was falling down during songs and happening to land on his back. He didn't even wear shoes on stage. He disappeared for at least 2 songs, and even Mark apologized to the crowd for his behavior.
I would have like to have seen them come back to Chicago once Scott got his act together and give those fans with tickets to the original a chance to come back and get what they paid for.

I was at that show in question a few years ago, and yes, he was probably medicated or drunk. I've played shows totally obliterated so I'm wasn't all that upset. A few things that they didn't discuss:
1. Scott Stapp left the stage for like 15 minutes. Mark saved the day there pretty much because him and the other guys jammed out and he went into a longer than usual solo.
2. Lyrical anomalies. Well, he sang the same verse to "Higher" twice, and slurred his words. I thought that was interesting.

The 4 fans didn't enjoy the show. Anyone ever tell those 4 that the cost to retain a lawyer and sue would be way more expensive than just cutting their losses. There was 5 of us at this show, I was sad, dissapointed and disgusted at the show that was put on. However, it happens TO EVERY band sometime or another, stop with all the comments, I spent 75.00 each ticket just like everyone else,t he people that put this lawsuit on him need to go jump in traffic for stupidity.

I was at that show in question a few years ago, and yes, he was probably medicated or drunk. I've played shows totally obliterated so I'm wasn't all that upset. A few things that they didn't discuss:
1. Scott Stapp left the stage for like 15 minutes. Mark saved the day there pretty much because him and the other guys jammed out and he went into a longer than usual solo.
2. Lyrical anomalies. Well, he sang the same verse to "Higher" twice, and slurred his words. I thought that was interesting.

Stapp himself has said in later interviews that he doesn't even remember this show, cause he was so tripped out on drugs. And Tremonti said his whole family was there, and Stapp went backstage and passed out after a few songs, and then came back and sang the wrong lyrics. Google it!

After I paid my money I know excatly what he did, he's lying, I was about four or five people away from Mark, All I can say is that Mark and the guys made up for what he did! Scott Stapp is a good singer, he came out candidly of the events that took place when he was performing on the Weathered tour and discussed them openly. Mark Tremonti is a good guitarist and the rest of the band are good at what they do. Why not let things rest and let musicians be musicians, if you don't like their music then go listen to something you will like instead of making arrogant and hateful comments.
