Yasmin Ahmad is an amazing Malaysian director. She has done plenty of meaningful commercials which usually appear during local festivals and national days. A fairly recent award winning one is "Tan Hong Ming". She also has several wonderful movies - among them Sepet and Mukhsin, which also got some awards. To me, her works have the universal human touch and cross all boundaries.

Sadly, she passed away last week. Will miss her. RIP Yasmin.
