they actually work pretty well for xcm other then fans. they weave nice arm spread is ok a little hard to catch. they do weigh twice what a normal deck weighs. they are now not limited time any more they sell them at walmart for 8 bucks and they come in a nice case now also.

These aren't trial runs anymore - they are full-on released. Picked up a blue deck from Barnes and Noble today.

They came in a nice, durable cardboard case that I'm going to re-purpose to protect one of my Ellusionist decks. Unfortunately the inside is slightly too narrow to fit the deck box, but the deck is held nice and snug on the inside of it. The cards themselves shuffle nicely, look good and feel good, but they fan abysmally and spread poorly.

i baught a deck of these because they are 100% plastic, and 100% plastic = water proof, going to use them for doing magic at like pool parties where everyones wet, or if i get used to them enough so that they handle better for me maybe ill carry a deck with me in place of my normal deck in the summer, so that i dont have to worry about taking them out of my pocket incase of sweat and such

I personally LOVE these cards. I don't really do magic or XCM much (yet) so I judge by feel, durability, and ease of shuffle, and these are GREAT in all those regards. Plus, the back is awesome.

Looks like Bicycle ended up liking these early cards, as you can now get Red, Black, and Blue with a very nice capsule type case.

I have a question maybe someone who owns these cards can answer for me. Is the Prestige a heavy deck? I know some plastic decks have a tendency to be a bit bulky feeling.

Personally, I think they are good for magic. I mean. Sure, they don't fan very well. And spreading is kind of eh because the cards stick together. But the flexibility is worth it. The plastic cards I have are the Clear Bicycle cards. The "slickness" helps when you're trying to slide cards.

They come in a new packaging now. Some sort of a cardboard box but it is two pieces and they slide together. It's a very ridged cardboard. It has a nice texture as well

Heheh, I'd say bad for magic eh? You can hear the plastic rubbing on itself, you'd never be able to do things like the classic color change, which should be silent.
