@Sonorite Clark is still iffy on his destiny..and has yet to dawn the superman gear. I think in the final episode we'll have Lex come full circle to his evil self. Clark first time suit up. And the cliche "its a bird, its a plane, its superman!"

I think they really worked on season 9 because they are sort of compeating with supernatural season 6 and we all no how much people would choose supernatural over smallville they are just makin it so people can think equally of both tv shows!

Smallville was great the first few seasons, but its gonna jump the shark soon or it might have already done it. Seriously first 3 seasons were great and 4th was good to. Then it was the same over and over. Now its a little different but pretty much all of its the same they know his secret than they forget and some random thing for space comes and enters chole's body. i swear thats happend ot chole like 100 times in show. And everything weird has something to do with kryptonite.

Smallville ends this season. its a fact i've watched the last ever scene. Clark gets a job at the planet and he walks in with glasses on. Then he hears a cry for help and he hides in the lift, rips his shirt and flys off for the first time. And onlookers see him flying and say is it a bird/plane and then chloe say's "no it's superman" and it ends with clarck flying off in the distance!

Lex was one of the onlookers in the street when clark was flying away/ lana was looking out of the window of the daily planet and lana is in france looking at the moon at the same time clark is flying towards it. It's very cinematic and last about 5 mins in total, going through the various characters while clack is transforming into superman. Lionel and martha are having dinner together somewhere etc.

How can this be the last season of Smallville. The season was already cut short due to the Writers Strike (with only 15 episodes written and filmed). Also, the creators have said that episode 15 has been retooled to act as the season finale and will end with cliffhanger, one which will lead into the 8th Season, should there be a pickup by The CW. Season 8 is said to be the final season.

A cliffhanger is the perfect tool for fans to be given a false hope, BUT remember it's the writers who are on strike so the power is in there hands at the moment, unless they HAVE re-written the script then I have seen the final scenes of Smallville.
