Are the road wheels mixed steel/rubber, or is the rubber just missing from some of them? If the rest of the parts can be dredged up, then at least a decent static display could be put together.. It looks like the thing was destroyed by the crew, or maybe a bomb strike.

@beardo52 They did use steel road wheels on the front of some on steel at the back but not sure what that configeration was used on

How can u say it's a panther d, the panther D A and G all had rubber road wheels, only a few panther G's had steel road wheels

Tamten czołg w górze rzeki z tego co "wyczułem" pod stopami , kiedy po nim chodziłem w rzece Nidzie mial wiezyczke z lufą.Piekne to były tereny z zielonymi łąkami,czystą wodą , w ktorej mozna popływac i cisza.

Teraz to juz nie przyroda tam króluje ,tylko osiedle domkow .Dziwie sie ze nad sama rzeką zezwolili na budowe .Czy oby te tereny nie mają statusu parku?

Wow, hard to believe. Littlefield must have had to build the entire upper structure from scratch and the rest must have been bondo'ed to hell. I've seen the Littlefield Panther and I didn't realize this was what was restored.

@solinvictus39 lol, no!i would say they cut the upper part off for better transport and to work better on it.how do you want to create the whole upper part out of nothing?! :P

and i think no weapon in ww2 battlefields were able to blow off the whole structure :)

I just watched the Tank Overhaul episode with Littlefield's Panther. They show a picture of that tank when it was pulled from the Polish river and this isn't the same tank. Littlefield says he purchased it from a German collector who had had it for 10 years, and the video of this Panther hulk is dated 2003... isn't the same.

Kupić wywieźć do USA i odrestaurować to sobie można wrak wartburga albo trabanta, a nie czołgu z II WW. Jeśli go kupił to komu zapłacił? sołtysowi z Bieleckich Młynów?

Ta pozostałość pantery stoi w Muzeum Oła Białego w Skarżysku Kam. Kolekcjoner z USA zrekonstruował panterę, którą wydobyto "pocichu" jakiś kilometr w górę rzeki od tego miejsca, na początku lat 90-tych. Była w stanie doskonałym, co pozwoliło ją zrekonstruować i jest na chodzie. W jaki sposób wywieziono czołg za ocen? to jest już sprawa kryminalna.
