For those that don't understand: It's a canon in 8 parts, split into two sections (4 parts to each). The first section is a canon in itself, as is the second section. However, the second section is the first section material but inverted. When the two sections are played at the same time it creates a shifting C maj chord (which is why it all sounds a bit 'the same'), although the individual parts remain in canon.
