They aren't speaking French, if that's what you mean. If you are referring to what he says after "secret of immortality" question, it sounds like he says it lies in "la hibernación de los moluscos," which means the hibernation of mollusks.
@brandonman2109 So sorry, I meant Spanish =P Only God knows what hit my head when I typed French. Thanks for the reply! I actually meant throughout the whole video coz the video is cut off, but I managed to find another one with the translations =)
He liked the extravaganza. This good each gone taken. Dali not crazy. Genius and madman.
I disliked greatly in cracked.com that said Dali hated cats, while the ocelot is there to be seen. It is one thing to say Dali is crazy, other to say he hated his cat! Love for cats is one of the hallmarks of genius in any giraffe!

its amazing the more i understand how mathematically and probablistic complex we the humans, the life, the universe is i have to come to the conclusion that theres gotta be a creator, i agree with dali
Wrong translation: he was not saying "i'm too intelligent" he's actually saying: "i'm a bad painter because i'm too intelligent to be a good painter, you have to be a little bit dumb or "burro" in spanish, with the exception of Velazquez he said..
@LionProductionsTV yes, Dali had no religious faith. He used Christian images as cultural artifacts, not in a dogmatic way. He shared many of Freud's views on the human mind.
He has made some VERY surreal movies as well. I rented some from Blockbuster back in like 1990 or so, so I figure there are more out there & I could buy them or maybe just watch them again. He will always be my fav. and has inspired me too. PEACE!

Same goes for me. I was only 14 when I first learned of Dali and the whole concept of surreal, and it took quite some time to get used to some of his pieces. I admire his style very much and I don't think there's any denying of the magnificence of his craft.
La entrevistadora se llama Paloma Chamorro. Se hizo famosa en España a principios de los ochenta por un programa de tv que causó mucho escándalo llamado La Edad de oro. Tienes aquí en youtube varios videos de ella y su programa.

Second to Picasso and Warhol? Can`t compare them. Picasso did cubism with inspiration from African "mask-art"! Warhol was largely inspirated by mass production. Dali did surrealism. If one like an artist better than another one, thats fine, but pick some in the same genre. When I want music, I pick music depending on my mood though..
My Art Teahcer Saw Him In A Muesuem Wearing A Gold Space Jumpsuit Thing, And A Gumball Like Thing In His Mouth. Then A Reporter Came Up And Asked What He Had In His Mouth. He Pulled It Out And It Had Spikes Sticking Out That Poked Into His Mouth. The Reporter Asked Why Do You Have That In Your Mouth? And He Replied For The Sheer Pleasure Of Taking It Out. He Was A Little Unusual But A Talented Person Too.

I'd say that he was second to Picasso and Warhol easily for fame and credibility. Most of the things he did can be done by virtually anyone with Photoshop to a certain degree now, so his star is falling. Graphic artists have done far more spectacular things in the last forty years.
I remember something from a story of Salvador: When Dali, at an art school was going to do an "exam" by talking. He came in to a room, and several old guys from the "old`art-school" with their "nose up" sitting there, was gonna evaluate Dali.
