  • This was amazing! Also, Congratulations for the baby!

  • Very well done!!

  • Bringer of Jollity indeed.

  • CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR WIFE! well now she/he is 2 years old :D CONGRATULATIONS!!! great arrangement btw Must find trumpet sheet..

  • the center part of that is one of 3 of my favorate melodys of all time

  • wow amazing

  • sounds like the four handed by arrangement by Holst pared down. Did you actually transcribe it? Great job, but the amount of notes needed to replicate the orchestra requires four hands. It's just too much for one person!

  • Dude, you're the effin man, this was sweet

  • what are the notes in the melody at 0:28, and what are the leaping intervals around 1:00, i know how to play the theme at 0:19 and the theme at 1:53 but the stuff in between I don't know so well

  • i love it, i want to learn to play this too, i can play it in parts

  • The page turn at 1:02 is seriously the most epic page turn I have ever heard in my life. Does the sheet music have a staff for page turning and a note at that spot that's particularly accented? Seriously though, while it's kind of rough (you sound challenged, which is understandable) at spots, you did a very good job playing and arranging this piece. Props.

  • This is the best piano arrangement I've ever heard of the complete piece!! Were you using any sheet music as reference for your arrangement? I've been looking everywhere for a decent score but they're all for two pianos. Would you mind telling me which version of the sheet music you used if you used any? :) Thanks

  • this is one of the most accurate piano versions of this out there. but i do agree, this is soooo made for orchestra, not piano. good job nevertheless. it was played well.

  • even though i think you did a great job i don't think this piece was meant for the piano

  • i like it :)

  • how many years with piano to do this??

  • its very very nice =)

i love two jupiter songs which you play(this and the "melody from jupiter")

i cant find the tab for that two songs, could you plz just give that to me??

    plz.,plz,plz....

i found that for a long long time but no anyswer.

plz help and thz a lot for sharing

hope u can give me that!!

  • I love this piece

  • Dang! That's just so rousing and inspirational, yet you get up like it was nothing at all. I'm still here realing in the feeling of "Wow..."

I know others have asked, but was this your own piano reduction, or was it someone else's arrangement?

  • As a bass trombonist, my favourite part (due to the rest of the piece basically being dotted half notes in 3/4 time and off-beats here and there) is needless to say at 7:58, when the entire bass section plays lento maestoso (maestoso it is very much indeed!). And due to my interest in aviation, it's the perfect music for the scene when the plane leaves the clouds and the pilot see the runway in sight. But that's just my visual interpretation.

  • amazing

  • there are any sheet music? awesome!

  • this is tooo good

  • Is there anyway I could get a hold of your arrangement of the music? I am a huge fan of it and would love to learn the music myself.

  • Congratulations on the pregnancy! and nice playing!

  • That's AMAZING!

  • Your're the best piano player i'd ever seen in my life... I never heard Holst's Jupiter on piano before and that was AWESOME! Hey, whats that noise at the very end?

  • Well, congratulations!

  • Wow, nice! Please upload the rest of your transcriptions to imslp! And, I'm dying to know now, what happened when you were done recording?

  • Oh, thanks for asking. Forgot about that. My wife walked in with a positive pregnancy test. :-)

  • aw. Congratulations!!!

  • i think if jupiter should be arranged for piano, two pianos should be used at least...not just one....it sounds too empty....

  • Hey that's an amazing transcription! This is the best song from the Planets Suite & you did it really well! :)

Do you have the music score for your transcription? I would like to try it out :)

  • Well according to Holst himself, the best movement was Saturn: The Bringer of Old Age.

  • Is there anywhere I can get copies of your arrangments of The Planets?

  • Not bad. But you can consider using some tremelo for effects. That's what Holst did in his duo piano arrangement!

  • You put so much work in this arrangement...

I like the part from 3:25 to 5:15

  • Wonderful transcription. Is there a way to get a copy?

  • good job, i've never heard it played on piano before. arranging it meant you wrote all this down?
