I like Peter Joseph, I've learned a lot from him! He does a great job exposing Religion. However, he doesn't give you the whole truth when it comes to God, Jesus and the Bible. Jesus and the bible have nothing to do with Religion. My philosophy involves both resource based economy and capitalism (or property) for those who care for that. You simply need to stick to TRUTH. while some people doubt peter's ideas, i find them revolutionary and necessary. when i see my old classmates joining the army, brainwashed by patrotism, telling me they want to kill terrorists, i am reminded of zeitgeist. or when i worked a boring, repetitive, pointless job (cashier) to make profit for some company, and to keep the failing economy going, i am reminded of zeitgeist. or when my other religious friend is talking to me about praising god and religion, i am reminded of zeitgeist.

...and if a person is aware of the problems maybe they feel that the problems are so vast that they cannot imagine a solution...that was myself for many years until I saw the Zeitgeist move and subsequently was made aware of The Venus Project...now having made the change within I feel compelled to share the same information that helped me in the process as I'm sure every other member of the movement does. @tarantism if you actually understood the movement you'd realize that we believe that the revolution you speak of is indeed and inward one as that is the only way real change can occur. This movements sole purpose is educating people as to what is really going on in society so they, equipped with that information, can make the necessary change within. If a person is unaware of a problem then there is no reason to think of solutions.

More so to embrace it and base a society on the availability and abundance of resources that are available for every human being on the planet. I met Peter Joseph and found him to be a person who uses buzz words without understanding the implications of the concepts of which he speaks, instead of building on his claims he just slides from subject to subject displaying disjointed bits of information that do not cohere to the argument at hand, then tries to dismiss the whole argument as being trite.

Maybe, just maybe if we started to consider the root causes of such problems then down the line we will start finding better solutions. I don't see why that is such a bad thing to suggest.

I like Peter Joseph, I've learned a lot from him! He does a great job exposing Religion. However, he doesn't give you the whole truth when it comes to God, Jesus and the Bible. This movements sole purpose is educating people as to what is really going on in society so they, equipped with that information, can make the necessary change within. If a person is unaware of a problem then there is no reason to think of solutions.

More so to embrace it and base a society on the availability and abundance of resources that are available for every human being on the planet. If the environmental attributes that lead to greed, exploitation, corruption and retail dishonesty are no longer in existance, then you will see these traits diminish rapidly. And therefore poverty, war and human suffering will also diminish.

Positive critical thinking like this is a natural skill given to humans by the universe as a pre-graduation present for making it so far through evolution. People with no history of knowledge or care for that matter, will suddenly find themselves utterly captivated, for seemingly no reason at all. This is due to collective consciousness. The consciousness is in the process of multiplying, and the SECOND that we reach a certain majority of critical thinking, we'll have our evolution.

So Peter (even if I disagree with his movement) is going to hell for educating people? For doing exactly what the bible tells us to? That's because they were all filmed at the same time, they are 4 parts of the same video... Unfortunately we don't have the funds to pay for a studio and so we have to film where we can when we can. and in this case the only option was somwehere backing onto a park.

It's natural to be suspicious but take a step back and look at where that suspicion is coming from. I was skeptical at one point but I started to notice little things that would make me that way. Every bit of TV you watch, even if you consciously know it's not right, your subconscious will absorb the information and take it as true, thus shaping your behavior and attitude in the process. If your having a hard time understand, I recommend the documentary kymatica. Thur-rel explanation.

@originalcause Sometimes we do, as that way we can prevent background noise. But in this case the lecture was quite a way away, and because it was so late in the evening after a long day, we didn't have time to move locations. So we had to make do unfortunately

I'm sure you felt the questions were relevant enough but things like "well, why didn't you do X ( X being, record in your living room)?" is on the same level of value as questions like "Why aren't we there yet". I must say that Peter Joseph and I share a lot of similarities in our thoughts about the world and the people on it. Peter, however, is a better speaker than I am and makes things a lot clearer when explaining things, something I'm not good at most of the time. Great video!

@theaccousticaddict Hi, just to give a little bit of light to the religion topic: Zeitgest, nor the Venus Projects rejects any kind of religion. In fact both movements consider that spirituality is very important in everyone's life. What these movements see of religion as something negative is what the church as political institution has made of it, mainly Catholic religion: it divides people, just think how many different catholics groups exists, that doesn't have anything to do with god.

It's not only 'The bible' and God my friend. But the monetary system as well. See, to me, it seems u can't have one, without the other. :) If you doubt my words, which I think is true, look what the history has to say. Look the fact, not the fiction.

This is exactly what is addressed in Zeitgeist 2; human nature or human behaviour? There is no for people to envy or be jealous of another. instead you should be proud and excited for that person because they have succeeded in some way. This whole movement is about changing society's mentalities for the betterment of our species.
