  • Some try -no sense- compare or define art.

Art is singular for be coletive.

    Art of noise is amazing.

    Fuck group!

    Thanks sonemem

  • i am surprised that anyone could think of this as musique du supermarche, frankly. But I would like to go shopping where they played such tracks

  • I'm a Jazz & Rock-n-Roll drummer. I put on my headphones and played the drums to this song and grooved in the coolest way! Very different, very moving!

  • Franchement ce groupe nous avait pas habitué à la musique de supermarché! Déçue par cette album! je préfère de loin les premiers!

  • @Feudedieu31 C'est ton avis. Ecoute ce que t'aimes

the intro just blew me away!!

  • I don't know specifically what she's singing, but I do know the woman singing in french is Donna Lewis (I love you, always forever). I love this album...and because of it, I now love Debussy.

  • I was searching for this song...forever!! and today i heard Art of Noise in atiny restaurant in Cuzco...stayed there for a while!! found it!!

  • I love this song... I would like to know what the girl's are singing in French. Anybody out there?

  • Wow, been listening to art of noise simply through youtube... didn't realise they were so damned good!

  • this is a pendulum sample

  • @StormBloodClaw hwat

  • @ApocalypX If you don't already know, Pendulum is a DnB (Drum and Bass) group.

They used the trumpet introduction to this song as a sample for one of their song.

  • @StormBloodClaw What song?

  • 5 people dream in black and white.

  • @EnigmaHood Now are seven lucky black&white dreamers :-D

  • I really really like this song and the way it changes its Beautiful..

  • This album has an astonishingly good production and mix.The best i have ever heard.10 years later and t hasnt dated and it never will.Timeless.

    Lsten through headphones

  • @peterwwolf Trevor Horn (somehow) has been able to retain a lot of the depth and texture with his digital recordings that were lost when we left analogue recording behind. This album is a good example.

  • anybody know what the french lyrics in this song are?

  • @sbaketown the only words I can make out are

    "je le" something

    "tout le monde bon" something

    "bon soir"

    @3:22

  • Shitty quality...

  • Comment removed

  • @yocuzz100 Nonono, I mean the audio quality. The song's great! :D

  • This is my "longboarding late at night" song. If you have a longboard, listen to this at night while riding. You'll understand.

  • My goodness AON is goodness

  • I've been listening since age 12...Now 53...Though, I started with Swiched on Bach..

    Really liked this era....

  • @holysmoke721

NO offense, but I'm a bit confused. How could you have been listening to the AON since you were 12, and yet be 53 now? (the formed in 1983). 12+27 (27 years since formation) = 39.

  • @stewiexdarkness" This Type of Music"...Starting with switched on Bach ,Edger Frose, Brian Eno Frip...Electronicia...KPFA Thursday(Fri Morn) 3:00-6:00 AM John Thrasher Show...Then Later Jose Castro's Show FRi-Sat Morning 3-8 KUSF..PRE Internet Day's. I have quit jobs that interfeared with music time...I also still have several hundred tapes of the Jose C Show.....

  • @holysmoke721

    AH, thanks for clarifying.

  • @holysmoke721 could you recommend other songs like this? thx

  • Are the AON still around?

  • it took me a while to realise that this whole album is structured musically around the work of debussey, and not just the story of his life...this is an amazing album.

  • I'm listening them from the early 80s...excelent.

  • very nice art of noise just discovered about them, i like their unique style!

  • Right on!

  • Sounds pretty similar to many musics of today, but is much, much better (more musical actualy).

  • I sent one of my friends (who had no previous knowledge of the AON) one of their more up-tempo, booming tracks via YouTube last night, and he was understandably (for him) turned off by it: remember....when introducing people new to the group an AON tune, keep it sweet. Once they get turned on to it, send 'em Beat Box, and see how they react to that...

  • @thomasmoredamian

lol at converting people to new types of music. Just let people listen to what they want to listen to. But still i get your point. I love their music, quite souulful

  • Yes i agree with below, nice & chill tune!!

  • I have been a fan since 1984, got all their albums, this is a nice chill out tune :o)

  • I'm a fan of their work, too. Awesome. By the way, I saw from their website that they're making a new album and it comes out this summer!

  • it went from ambient to techno to trance , awesome

  • GOOD Sub Bass ³

  • lovely

  • he didn't snapped his fingers :P

    aaw

    Still awesome song!

  • he did (:

  • Found this song via a friend, and I have to say it's not something I'd normally listen to, but it's one of the best songs I have on my iTunes right now.

Brilliant song, hope to find more.

  • Ive listend to a few art of noise songs on here, and ive gotta say, they don't seem all that popular. It is rare to find a negative comment however :D! I love this song, fits so well with puzzle games.

  • They were popular in the 80's and early 90's. That might be why.

  • I'm a Big Fan & I have 2 say despite any age , who ever listen to AoN will put its imprint no matter who & what ever kind of music he/she listens to ! Agree ?

  • Definatly!

  • indeed

  • I used to remix this one, the samples were free with mixman studio about 10 years ago or so :O time goes fast :S

  • I used to listen to AoN religiously when I was 14... I'm 17 now, and have moved on to other subgenres of electronica, but they still have a deep emotional imprint set in my heart that will never fade as long as I live. :D

  • Funny, I have been listening to AoN since I was about 14 also...but I'm 37 now :) They're still cool to listen to.

  • dude ur awsome im in that road now lol both of yall

  • @mycroft791 Me too. :-)

  • Love to dream with this song....have it for 5yrs now w/ Anton Ramos compilations....thanks Anton!

  • Got to be my favourite song by far. I'm 17 and I don't listen to "Fall out boy" or "My chemical romanec". Firmly Art of Noise and Kraftwerk, spk, severed heads, John Foxx. I love this stuff.

  • It's called good taste and you obviously have a great deal of it ;)

  • Deffinatly have taste my friend, those bands will be dead soon but art of noise and the like will live on forever.

  • Thanks. I'm so glad to hear from people like you. Bought nealy all of the art of noise songs to date recently.

  • Have had this song for 2 years, really good!

  • Best album ever made.

  • @harrydamm Yes I have to agree best album ever made. I used to play this album right though every day I each time I would hear something new in the mix.

  • i love this song; absolutely gorgeous, asis the rest of the Seduction of Claude Debussy cd
