  • mediterranean is not only bcaus of diet they hve less depression its the good weather unlike northern cold countries,also th way of life,more close familly ,mentality ,its not just food ,look at greece now with economi crisis ,you find alot of depressed people.its also reverse ,when you are depressed you dont are of what you eat

  • Lost my job and have only lived on Sardines and Potatoes once a day for about 3 months. I got more work but I fell behind in bills and repayments and now ive hit a depressed state.

  • Food isn't the only thing that can help change a person's mood. Music can effect you depending on what you listen too also.

    luckily for them - mental illness doesn't exist. But it sure does for the millions of carers and families who have daily experience of living with someone with these REAL physiological conditions.

    I guess all those who committed suicide just needed a brisk walk and a vitamin injections.

  • A really noddy guide to nutrition like this is absolutely useless unless you tell people in a similar noddy way how to prepare the raw ingredients. And for people with depression for whom getting out of bed can be really difficult, getting to shop for and prepare food is almost impossible.
