Most weapons in this video were legal. Covers were not necessary, pole flails were allowed. You know when you get a group of 50 people, weapons aren't checked every weekend.

@juggaloninja117 yes we do :) and a couple of us are working on moving some interest in Western Canada now (Edmonton, Alberta) not only ontario, haha. And I heard of a group started up in Vancouver, British Columbia also.
my uncles decided to quit amtgard a year ago, they then decided to create their own game similar (but better) than it. It's called fireball, i don't want to be criticized about this and don't ask me if you can join, it's still in beta testing (after that it will be released to the world) ( i also dont want questions about it,theres no use in telling you people about it yet)
our group just became a barony we have like 37 to 40 people out there a week we all love amptgard plus i dont know about anyone else but id rather b sitting here making cool stuff then just laying around burbing and farting on couch making fun of those willing to try something differant plus ive met a lot of cool people doeing this you could too
I really dont understand how people suck at life for doing this. If they enjoy doing this, or if they like actual sword fighting, but they cant without killing someone.... this is the next best thing for them. Just because you think its dumb doesnt mean they suck at life... look at how many friends they have, everyone in the vid is probably a friend, and what do you have? 5 friends? 6 friends? and what do you guys do? watch football, drink, and burp... seems like you suck at life if you ask me

I'm sad, I went to my first event at the local area, and it was just um.. ditching I think. Fooling around with the swords no classes or magic. kinda sucked I was hoping for more fun
ditching is key to build skills on sword fighting, magic tourneys (like ours held) help the casters but i ditch and spar every chance so i can work on my stance

Yes in 2007, panty hose although frowned upon could still be used. If you notice noone is wearing class sashes either. Still looks like they had fun.
