  • thanks for this very informative video, looking forward to stepping Hanoi vietnam soon!

  • Great video. Thanks!

  • Nice video!!

  • Wow ..no cars in capital city..

  • If you want a "nice" holiday i`d suggest you go to one of those hermetically sealed holiday resorts. If you want an experience of a lifetime then go to Vietnam. The people are great, the country is beautiful, its amazing and its amazing because it is what it is. There is nothing you wont see in your own countries if you look hard enough. The idea of changing the place to fit your perception of what is right is ludicrous. Covered 2000 km and i`ve never seen so many happy people in my life.

  • Aren't they shameful to have streets full of garbage and dirty restaurants? I'm sure the people are nice, but they gotta practice clean and healthy living in order to attract more tourists.

  • @theonlytix Hanoi population is more than 6.5 million (2009). yes I know you live in the rich country has many cites with population density is very low comparing to Hanoi. Imagine, a poor family with many people living together in a small house, so no matter what they did, the house can't be cleaner compare to a rich family with few people . We're not feel ashamed or something, we do our best to keep it clean. you need to put yourself in other people position before judging them., ok.

  • @GDQT Whether you have a small house or a big house, rich or poor, personal hygiene and lifestyle is depended on the individual and their culture. In America, we have all kind of people from all walk of life; people from the poorest country like Angola and the people from one of the richest country like England.

Let me give you a better example: one day, I went to a Vietnamese town called Little SaiGon and also went to a Japanese town called Little Tokyo. Running out of space here, so cont...

  • @GDQT While at Little Saigon, I saw a man throwing a cigarette's butt on the floor and some family just brushed off the napkins and plates after finished a meal. I did not see a piece of garbage in Little Tokyo. Vietnam can be a beautiful land for the tourists to enjoy and for the citizens to live healthily if the Vietnamese people do their small part to keep the streets clean. The government has to strictly enforce litter-free to the street vendors and the consumers.

  • @theonlytix Little SaiGon is located in U.S. there is nothing related to us. So what is your ponit? are you sure the man you talking about is Vietnamese.

  • @GDQT Okay. Let me make it clear. I'm not saying anything bad about Vietnamese people in Vietnam. Actually, I'm happy for you guys have gone this far and improving your country each day. My advice is that the Vietnamese people should do more to keep the streets and home clean by practicing and enforcing litter-free environment. The reason I bring up the Vietnamese people in the US is that whether they live in Vietnam or in the US, they still live a lifestyle of a third world.

  • @theonlytix I agree. It's one of the main issues that I think is really holding Vietnam back from being a brilliant place to visit and live. There is so much about Vietnam to enjoy, but they really have no clue about hygiene. They are beautiful people and have a great laid back lifestyle, but they need to take some pride in their great country. I have noticed improvements since my last visit but the streets are still filthy. I'm sure they will eventually get out of their third world conditions.

  • @GDQT Are you Vietnamese by any chance? I'd like to start up an organization to spread the words around about heathly living. Street vendors are always welcome, but the government must enforce litter-free environment to minimize the next deadly disease; especially, the Vietnamese population is exploding... The Vietnamese people must be more organized and practice healthy living in order to cope with the overcrowded environment.

  • Hanoi hay tp HCM đều là những tp lớn của tổ quốc VN,việc gì mà các bạn phải tranh cãi được hơn???thành phố nào phát triển cũng là điều đáng mừng chứ???còn có bạn nói HN cần 30,40 năm mới đuổi đc tp HCM là ko có căn cứ thực tế??và có thể là bạn chưa đặt chân ra HN 10 năm trở lại đây.c\Còn nói chung cả 2 thành phố lớn của ta thua BKK về hạ tầng đến 20 năm là đúng ko sai!vì thái họ ko có war như VN ta,họ có 30 năm để đi trước ta mọi mặt!Cùng là người VN đừng như thế các bạn ơi!

  • man sumtimes being vietnamese is the best thing

  • Hà Nội cần 30 40 năm mới đuổi kịp Tp.HCM hiện tại và Tp.HCM lại cần 20 năm mới đuổi kịp đc Thái Lan...

  • @pinkson1501 hcm deo co dan hn ao o va phat trien thi gio chac cha khc deo j campuchia

  • I love hometown and proud of

  • very nice ..thank you

  • That red communist flags are just digusting. Hanoi is better without them on Tet (new year day). It's more like a China town in New York City with crowding houses, narrowing streets, packed powerlines, street vendors. I rather visit Indonesia. Thanks for posting though.
