The will of the people is such a hocus argument. Because the "will of the people" was not upheld in the late 1960s when interracial marriage was passed, in 1965 75% of Americans were against interracial marriage. They were against integration but we did not put those civil rights up to a popular vote. Because in this country we do not put civil rights to the whims of a majority, that is why we have a Constitution, to protect the minority from "the will of the people."

I dont understand how they could of still upheld prop 8 after hearing those speachs. This is what religion does, it sperates and destroys everyone. relgion is fucking bullshit. equality is coming, people will look back at this event and be disgusted at how stupid some poeple can be.
