  • Stolen idea. Check "Der Lauf der Dinge" by Fischli and Weiss, made in the 80s. Much more creative and no animation needed to make it work. Do you really think Honda would do this 600 times, rather than animate some parts? Theyre profiteers not artists...

  • haha, so what it takes about 600 tries to make your Honda finally work :D?

  • WOW! That is just a beautiful work of force!

  • it is brilliant :D

  • yes. shut up.

  • This ad is 100% REAL!!! Can you believe that I was totally shocked when I saw this ad.

I heared about this ad on CBC radio on a brief talk about urban legend ads that are so good people don't believe it is true.

This ad took over 600 takes because of slight mistakes, like wheel not going up the hill, bolt hitting to soft or to hard.

To all those who are curious the wheel part is real. The put weight on the top of the tires to help them roll forward when nudged.

  • dud but how dose the rest of it work and how

  • wow this is really amazing

  • woooahh

    dat wass koool

  • Very nicely done. I'd like to see people do that at Domino Day... : )

  • what is a weighted wheel? i googled, but cant seem to find a clear explaination.

  • wow

  • how did they make the wheels go up hill at :27

  • video editing.. theres no way that that could of really happened. i think :P

  • Nope it was real

  • the wheels are weighted

  • This clip was done with no video editting, except they had to do 2 shots and combine them because the camera equipment couldn't be brought all the way around. The wheels have weights at the top of them so that they land and go upwards. Rewatch the video and look for the weights.

  • Fantastic video. However the way the exhaust backbox rolls at 0:56 looks frightening. How did they make it roll like that anyway?

  • what song is that?

  • apache by the sugarhill gang

  • it took 661 attempts for a really cool thing

  • 606. we watched this in match class and my teacher told us

  • actually it took over 600 takes

  • 666 times

  • Nice quality. Thank you!

  • That's all real. I took like, 100 takes to get it all right, I heard.

  • Freakin' awesome!

  • I heard taht Elvis was still alive

  • holy shit. i heard somewhere the makers desrtoyed like 700 cars 2 do this
